very nice tune, great melodies as usual. all i can say is that the beat could have more punch and the mastering could be better

keep it up :D

All seems to fine except I get kinda lost in this, like there is no direction, I guess that's the Tranciness in it ;)

I wish you could explain a lil better what you mean. I know that the structure is kinda weird, but I wanted the melody to get slowly more n more fuller and 'powerful' as it progresses after the build... did you really find no direction? everythings moving forward man! ;)

D'oh, I forgot to respond to you guys! Ma bad... im outta town right now!

tu_face: I own a pair of Altec Lansing speakers with a sub, and although the bass can be pretty loud n such, I want a pair of studio monitors to reproduce the sopund the way its supposed to be! I dont own good enough headphines to use for producing, so I'm always driving family members crazy repeating loops over n over n over n over again fixing them.. lol
Thanx for the tips though, and I cant wait to hear your full opinion on the tune :)

Haak: The beat could have more punch eh? You mean the kick? or the other percusion arangements?? I'll remaster it after I've made the changes, but with all the layers its hard for everything to havbe its own frequencies and not sound cluttered, but I'll do the best I can. Thanx! ;)

your track is truly uplifting. absolutely beautiful. nearly brought a tear to my eye. i had to check out your other tunes after listening to this one, and wow, all your songs are filled with so much emotion. sorry i'm not able to critique your prodcution in technical aspects as i've only begun looking into producing three weeks ago, but wow, your work's inspirational. the sounds are great while maintaining a sort of natural instrumental feel to it, what synths do you use out of curiousity? all in all, keep up the great work!

LOL. how could u guyz say that tha stucture is wiered and that it has no direction ? its a generic uPlifting progressive trax people. ( by generic i only mean that if follows the uplifting style or formula ) if u could put it in those words.
tu_face
i really didnt like the start of the track.. but once the beat had kicked in and it got goin its loads better! really nice melodies and movement.. although u do have to sort out some of the levels as the synths and things do drown out the beat a bit too much :)

the breakbeat bit: WICKED

the breakdown: needs to be longer i think, needs to do something more from there on really.

the main synth line: when u take the filter down also take the resonance down a bit because it goes all weird and goes too loud :) that maybe the effect u were looking for, in which case take the level down slightly at the same time so it doesnt sound too out of place. also i think the main riff goes on for a bit too long without changing.

all in all, good track tho :) with a bit more work it could be absolutly fekin awesome ;)

JayKuE: Thank you so very much for your comments! I'm glad you feel this way about my tunes, for I DO try n put as much emotion into each track as possible! I dont make music simply by writing a good tune that comes to mind, otherwise I'd make a tune a week! But I wait until I have enough emotional inspiration (whethere it be extreme hapiness, love, anger or extreme sadness), smoke a joint, and produce away... ;)

Mental Exodus: Appreciate the defense, and you are quite right with the blueprint of the track, I made this track without any pauses or massive drum rolls so it can have that progressivey type of fell, yet it can still be considered by some as 'morning trance'. :D

tu_face: Thank you for the tips and for you comments, really means a lot.. although I have a few folow up questions, first off when you say 'drown out the beat' do you mean everything, just the kick, etc..? Should I adjust the kick accordingly so its more powerful? or enhance the opther percussion so it can be heard better? And when you say the breakdown needs to be longer, is there a specific part that should be extended or should I add something else? Also thanx for the filter tips, I'll try them out, but I dont want the synth goin too quiet when its cut unless its fading away... And yeah I'll be doing something about the 'repetativeness' of the melody... I might add another synth to back up the main one so it sounds a lil different and/or add another melody or layer to keep the interest there ;)

oDori: No prob man, I appreciate your honesty, I can't please everyine, and everyone has their tastes in music... ;)

Trickle: Thank you, and I will!
