Not enough people say it how it is in threads like this, and saying everything will be fine isn't going to help. Then again when asking advice from unqualified people you don't know on the internet you're not going to get the same response you get in Dear Miriam in "the sun" or whatever :rolleyes:

yeah well, people respond differently to different situations - like all people are entitled to their own opinions.. Its up to you really how you deal with the matter, you can only take in and decide for yourself how to judge/utilize other people's advice.

i agree completely...i really hope you are only telling US this and not acting the same way with her because, let's face it, we all want what we can't have...it's human nature. and about 99.9% of the time, it's a BIG turn off to see someone lose all their pride and act like that when you get dissed for someone else. it only reinforces why they left you in the first place. i am far from being a shallow or heartless person, but if a guy was acting like that to me, the only thing i would be thinking would be, "GET A GRIP". |
