Adam- No problem- you can crawl under my coat with me ANY time! It's even colder in Canada... ;)

Caryn- didn't he play Tilt "butterfly" (pvd remix)? It was awesome seeing u again! I wanna thank you for leaving that flu bug back in Miami, and sparing me from it somehow (and for not puking the entire time u were in DC).

Daniela- happy belated b-day! I wish I'd known earlier, I would've bought u a drink. Sorry we lost each other in the crowd.

Lemon-li- I don't think I'll be able to download the images & post them until I get back home (after the 6th). I wish I'd taken more of Paul than i did.

to my friend Barrett- thanks for the after party at your place.

Amit- thanks for being my dancing partner during "Take Your Air", the ONLY tune I went nuts-o for on the dance floor.

A while ago I'd had a nightmare that I went to see PVD in NY, but had gotten so wasted that I 'missed' hearing Nu-NRG when he played it. I was so sad. I'm soooooooooo happy that didn't happen in reality!!!

I'm still like on a natural high from that night...that man's music is so full of energy! He's number 1 in my book.
beema
I'm still floatin away somewhere :D

I wasn't there but I can just say that I'm with Caryn on this one. I can be happy that it was many of your first times seeing PVD and you got to experience what I love so much (esp. you beema). Now you know why I get so excited to see him, even if I'm not as hardcore of a fan as Caryn :)

Yep they recorded it. They usually post about 1 hr 15 mins of the sets that they record tho. Having the whole set posted would be a miracle hehe :disbelief :thepirate

I also talked to one of the guys who runs GLOW (Antonis), and he said that they were video taping PvD... so they're gonna post a vid too!!:D

I was in town visiting from Seattle and hit this up with my friends. We will never be the same again. It was the most amazing, fast, powerful, and driving set I've ever heard. Blew me and my friends away beyond all comprehension. I just wish everyone could have experienced this. The place was packed as a mother. There was a fight in the back chill room with a bunch of people pusing and shoving. What was up with that?

Who is the guy in the first pic on Page 4 of this thread, third from left, hands on the shoulders of the two guys in front of him, white shirt, black hat and mustache? Man, you were OFF THE HOOK at the show- around me the whole time keeping me pumped up the whole night. I was the tall skinny guy with short hair and black rimmed glasses in the VANDIT shirt. It was my first time seeing PvD live (I've been a fan way too many years to have gone this long without seeing him) and he was INCREDIBLE. Better than I ever could've imagined. The ten hour drive from Atlanta was definitely worth it. Props to GLOW for an awesome sound/lightshow and GOOD security. Props to the crowd for being energetic and respectful- it was a great vibe. Atlanta could learn a lot from you guys in DC. (Read http://www.therivieraclub.com/wwwbo...sages/989.shtml regarding Tiesto's Atlanta show a couple months ago- I doubt he will ever come back.)

yes, the pvd party was definetly OFF THE HOOK!!!!! i've seen him twice before, but this party was most definetly the better of them all. methinks it's b/c of all the ppl there that were as big a fan of paul as i am, so that really helped the whole energy of the party. and it didn't hurt that he just layed down one sick track after another. and he played TIC TOC!!!!! and for an angel. my abosolute favorite pvd song. gawd, it was so awesome. my shoutouts to my whole crew that rode up from atlanta with me. and a shout out to nick who i talked to in the coat check line from pa. if you're reading this, it's me, remy, the kid with the goggles on his head. pm sometime! neway, i hope everyone had a really good time and i'm already planning my next trip to see him. love parade, here i come!...i hope. :D
