Yo, it was a great set if I had known the tracks he played but unfortunately I'm a bit out of the trance scene. Packed like sardines is right, I could barely breathe in there, the most people that have been at Glow at any one time.
I need an ID on a track!! It was like the 4th or 5th track, the first track he played that was VERY UPLIFTING. It had a vocals (I think male AND female) and it had some kind of piano melody, 3 piano keys per measure. It was very distinct and different from the songs immediately after and before. Nice seeing Amit and Adam up there.

You're probably looking for the same song I was looking for before... It is Blackeight - The Silence (something with lyrics "Am I always on your mind") This track was on his "Live at Okyo" set, track 2.
It was a great night, unfortunatelly the crowd and lack of seating totally sucked. The thing that really fuqed up the nite was Edgar V's dark dark tracks... Totally had me all spooked.:eyespop: Although I got to shake Edgar's hand latter on in the evening... Wanted to tell him what a bastard he was for makin' me so paranoid :nervous:
But the night summary could be said as follows:
Tickets to see your favorite DJ - $38
Gas and Tolls - $27
2 Waters - $4
Being the first one to have three pictures of Paul Van Dyk signed by the Man himself - Priceless! :happy2: :D :toothless
BTW, did I hear him spin Space Frog or the Tank??? (I can't remember which) |

we'll let you believe that john...
:p
i'm sure it was a GREAT set at Arc, but even Ian stated that Paul's set at Space on Friday night was better than the Arc set. And I think that Paul spun a better set at Glow than at Space. :) (for the first hour, I know for sure) :)
glad you had a great time at Marco V, maybe a trip to montreal in january... |
