thats the reason why a political forum was started so that no debates and flaming would take place in the other forums |

about those palestinians cheering after the 9/11 attacks... its now known that those were fake and I think cnn apologized for them. The first and foremost blatant proof of them being fake, is that those shots showed kids during the day and at the time of the 9/11 attacks it was the evening in palestine...
anyways people, we should all stick together and not accept any broad generalization about a culture or another... |

That makes logical sense. But what angers me even more is the fact that CNN knew the reprecussions that clip would have on the middle eastern community and the hateful crimes that would ensue as a result of this on middle eastern americans.....that one clip made people in the US think all palestinians were like that...even though it wasnt true..pretty sad |

I agree that some palestinians want peace, but there are way too many that want Israel eliminated. How else would you explain so many people that gladly become suicide bombers. And from interviews with their relatives, it follows that they too support the bombings. Now note, that you only notice those bombers who actually blow themselves up. But there are even more that are caught. You never hear about these.
I do believe that about 90% of Palestinians WANT the destruction of Israel. And seriously, if you think otherwise, you are naive. Imagine growing up in poverty you whole life, and you parents teach you that Israelis took over your land. Of course you'll want to destroy Israel!
Palestinians need some proper leadership. Until Arafat is there, there will be no peace. You all blame Sharon. But Sharon only responds to suicide bombings. If you notice, he sends tanks and army only after suicide bombings. After a while Tanks and army leave. Stop the bombings, Israel will stop as well. |

thats just their excuse to go and attack Palastinians, okwhat about other times when they just attack for no reason?and when they are asked, they say they suspected that some terrorist activity might be going on.Now Iam not saying they should do nothing when they ara attacked,but they go TOO FAR simetimes. |
