Yes i do hold that same hatred as those who bomb innocent civilians... the difference is i dont go around killing every arab or muslim i see! i'm a civil person who can express himself through words and activism where and when its called for.
When i go to rallies, i'm not the one whos always looking to fight or cause ... i look on the other side of the barriers and i see arabs with so much hate in their eyes... yelling 'die die israel'. justify that to me... you guys wipe your ass's with toliet paper that says 'peace' on it!
no matter how hurt i am by the actions of the muslim world, i will always look for a democratic way to work things out!
i would even propose to set up a real life forum where we could have an afternoon to discuss things with a little more respect to one another and have our voices heard in a more sensitive environment.
it doesn't have to be just you and i, it could be others who have something to say on the matter. we could also discuss suggestions of ways to overcome the things that effect both sides of the conflict!
i'm not the animal you have pictured me to be... its obviously easier for me to get whats on my chest out when i'm just typing away at my keyboard.
I am the last person who would ever think such a thing as anyone whos not jewish should burn in hell! i respect every religion for their good values and teachings... i hate those who turn things around and teach religion as hate!
Please dont just take what i said and through it on me... its well known that to muslims, a 'non-believer' is the enemy. i've talked to many muslims in my year in israel. i've had dinner with muslim families in east jerusalem. i've writen reports that by no means we're bias because i would have failed my class if it was. One of my professors was a cristian arab. he studied all three major religions and was very educated when it came to the bible, the torah, and the quron.
what disguests me is that if i a jew would ever walk through damascus gate alone wearing a 'kippah', he would be spat on to say the least. when i see arabs walking in their full religious garments through the jewish quarters of jerusalem (the old city), they pass without anyone saying anything to them what so ever. that only proved more so to me that israelis dont have a personal vadeta against all arabs... we know the problem lays in the hand of Arafat, the whole PA regime, and the terror groups who have vowed in their mission statements to destroy israel!
One of the Janatorial staff at my school was a muslim. 5 times a day he told me he prayed to g-d. i respected him very much for that. it showed me that he wasn't selfish and respected his creator enough to get on his knees and praise him. he and i spent hours together having conversations abuot the conflict that is plaguing the region and i respected his views just as mjuch as i would have wanted him to respect mine, only because he didn't hate evry jew. he didn't think we we're the devil and all had to be destroyed, he simply felt that both sides had the political differences, but that we have our similarites as humans. We, the jews, are technically your cousins (according to religion).... all i say is listen to the human inside you and connect to your jewish cousins on that level as opposed to a political level.

I'd like to retract some of the slanderous statements i may have posted in the past regarding Muslims (and arabs in particular).... i will not edit the posts, but leave them as is for the sake of the thread(s). Perhaps you will see this as a first step to peace (on a smaller scale ie. amonst the Toronto TA's). When i posted some of those messages i was very heated from ager i felt from member of this board who we're trying to justify the actions of radical muslim extremists who i believe are the ******s who keep this conflict going.
jan 5ths bombing came after a month and a half of calm in the region. not b/c no one attempted to commit a terror attack, but because over 90% of them are thwarted thanks to Israeli intel. If the arab side could show the israeli side that they are commited to peace by halting all bombing attempts, than the israelis would have no choice but to negociate a peace agreement. prove to them, and to the woprld that your ready for a democratixc state of your own... one that would fight terror and fight incitment and propoganda against jews.
a first and forever lasting step on behalf of arafat would be to ban all educational material that is slanderous against israel and jews. obviously if you educate the population to hate, most will follow because they see everyone else around them doing it. they dont know better because they dont have access to international media outlets.. they are not so lucky to have access to the internet like we do. Do you not agree that this sort of incitement sohuld stop immediately?

Well there you have it. I respect Melek for his apology and hope that we all learned a valuable lesson.Iam not going to ruin this because I don't think it would be appropriate by saying things like "i told you so" or that "you would eventually fess up". To all the TA's who expressed their concern thanks.To others who beleived that this issue would never be resolve I think this i a living proof.As for Melek Mike I hope things in the forums stay clamer for you.
