is just me or i am sure you all feel the same way about this...
like when i am watching the MTV music awards..and i see like pop,rock,hip pop artist gettin awards and all those dumb s screaming...i say to myself...thank god for trance....bunch of idiots dont know what they are missing out...nothing but commercial overhype bull...i kind of feel like i am an outsider...away from society...you know..thank god for underground trance...i mean there is alot of radio station out there playing dance and trance music..but not the good like hybrid,armin,etc...what you all think about this topic. |

| who cares...everyone has their own style of music and if u ever notcied mtv always pumps trance in the back ground...the scence would be huge if the govt wasnt so tough on clubs if they werent im sure we would have massive festivels and all te big clubs would invest in our evolving dance scene |

| also what to point out to the dumb asses out there listening to commercial trance...like darude,atb,lasgo...they are all bunch of mindless idiots that dont know good music...this happens alot of times...is like they love all this cheesy commercial tunes...but when you make them listen to hybrid,armin,h&j,push,airwave etcc...they dont like it....but they like the simple melody....its like its tooo complicated for them..has anyone been thru this before?? |

| MTV pisses me off. They play all kinds of trance in the background to their commercials and promos, yet they took a show like Amp off the air. O well, no use bitching about it. |

| i dont mean commercial i jsut mean kinda like the UK not to commercial but its out there and not hard to get hold of...records are expensive and very hard to get the ones you want and we dont have many djs out of this country... |

Some of tunes Airwave and MIKE are putting out are pretty good examples of what's becoming commercial overhype over here. That rave organ lead sound that MIKE continues to use and that Laurent has finally decided to retire is getting WAY old and now everyody is doing that... |

Mostly yes...
What you start to hear that his the same will come commercial
But some won't ... its hard to find qualiy tracks now , because its really easy to me trance but to make quality its hard.
I don't see much trance quality...well tiesto ,armin and some more
But the prog/house is full of quailly james holden,hybird,shasha,junike xl and more...
So IMO this year will show you where trance is going....
I'd use to love pulsedriver in 2001 , because then he was great but in 2002 he bacame commercial and almost all his tracks sucked ... /:

I hope trance returns to it's roots this year or next, or else it's gonna be crushed under the weight of a 50 ton Rave Organ! :D
I'd like to see a return to more techno oriented sounds and beats like it was in the early to mid 90's, probably the most classic time period for trance IMHO. |
