Does anyone know of any Boxing (not kickboxing) / jijitsu/kungfu/judo schools in east york, scarborough or anywhere in toronto for that matter?
im looking for one also that doesnt really concentrate alot on fitness because i have my own fitness schedule. im going there to learn martial arts/boxing, not to work out (although i know it is a form of sport there for i will be working out) |

i used to go to Florida Jacks boxing at younge and bloor ( right on the corner) and its AMAZING there, it was a small class so i was getting alot of attention
however, you can just learn to box without the fitness, but honestly there is no need for another fitness program if you get into boxing, it will automaticly mould your body to look like a pro fighter :D
after 2 months it looked like i had been working out for years |

i did it in the summer.... from 4-6( sometimes 7)
anyways i had to stop when the school started because i live in thornhill and i couldnt make it in time to yonge and bloor so it wasnt worth only going for an hour or whatever
id like to continue tho :D
i would definitly rejoin the boxing instead of a gym |

In Toronto? I think it's very unlikely that you'll find one. |

One of my best friends is into Brazilian JuJitSu hardcore. Goes to a club called Karma in Woodbridge which prolly has the best instructors in Canada.
He is always interested in new recruits I can link you up if ya want. |
