Hey people, the reason Swamper has not created your forum yet is not a nationality thing - there's no need for this wrath :) Creating new forums is a delicated issue, and it can get out of hand if we create too many sections with just 2/3/4 regular posters. Therefore, he has to be sure that there'll be enough users for a certain place using it.
Just for you to have an idea of how complicated it is to create a new forum, take a look at what we've done in order to have our own place here:

Cheers :) No, I didn't learn it from the girls, although they would often help me with the language :cool: Most of the stuff I know I learned from the internet (go to www.yourdictionary.com and you'll find resources to easily learn loads of languages), from some excellent books and tapes the girls gave me ("sdelano v CCCP" stuff :D) and from some Russian music (PPK, Radiotrance, DJ Gruv, Diskoteka Avaria,...).
Turned out to be very handy :disbelief :p

If I could, I would. However, this is not Swamper's style, I guess: he'll say that it's too much work for something that may fail (not the best word, but I can't think of anything else right now).

...who else lives in the former USSR countries? If you guys find just 5 more regular users from your region, I believe Swamper will finally give you your forum. Or else, you could unite with the users from Eastern Europe (as vano already stated) creating some kind of pan-slavic forum :p (which is what we did at the Ibero-American forum: it's a pan-latin forum). Anyway, there was this huge Polish thread in the Chill-out room and I believe there are some users from the Czech Republic, so you might get their support ;) |
