tony walker - Field of joy(origianl mix)
10 minutes of the most emotional track.
Another I guess is Dj tiesto - suburban train. tracks that you can really take the time to listen to the whole thing and look back is the best part. |

I think I would have to go with Xpander, for a variety of reasons.
Xpander represents a sort of golden moment in history when trance and progressive were married in harmony; as a result, it has been accepted and acclaimed across a wide range of trance genres today. It represents the peak ascent of progressive house into progressive trance, a moment of purity, elegance, and unity in the scene that has gone unparalleled since. In short, Xpander is the centerpiece of the '99-era. It is the essence of global renaissance and transcendence during those years that many pine for today.
Technically it is simple, yet complex. Powerful, yet smooth. Energetic, yet soulful. An ideal peak-hour tune, yet also a perfect finale. It is not simply a masterpiece of sound in the realm of electronica, but in music overall. Xpander didn't mearly rise above the standard; it created the standard. It has proven to have longevity far beyond its peers and, to me personally, it never gets old; only deeper. I can name few other pieces of music that stand for as much as Xpander stands for.
Most other tracks pale in comparison. The original stands like a monolith over the many simple creations that have followed it. I highly doubt that it can ever be remixed with even the slightest chance of success. There are other legendary productions comparable to Xpander, but I don't think they quite reach the heights of Sasha's transcendent anthem.
It expands your consciousness. It expands your emotions. It expands your perceptions. It is Xpander. |

Dj Tiesto - Magik Journey
This track defines trance for me. It has all the elements that make a trance tunes its best. The emotion filled intro, sweet vocal, wicked bassline, phat beat, emotion filled breakdown, then the sweeping strings comes in with the climax. I dont think Tiesto can make another Magik Journey. |
