LoL, what the hell was I doing in that pic with mosaic!? I think that must have been taken during the brief period while I was looking for a place to put away the cardboard box from the keychain they gave me.
Oh, and mosaic, so that was you I ended up going on the bus with. Think we were both pretty dead by then huh. :o Ah well that's what you get for partying sober for 9 hours. Nice meeting ya!
Last point, I'm sure I wasn't the only TA that came up with the brilliant idea of licking/eating the "snow" from the Viva sky, right? What WAS that stuff, shaving cream? |

Actually I prefer to call it "talking to Ralph on the big white telephone," but that would've taken too long to type.

I think I should try drinking some coffee @ next TA meetup.
That danish just gave me enough of a sugar boost to walk over to the club :D
DigiNut: Yeah, was nice meeting you (or, maybe I met/saw you @ Hardwick... I can't keep track until I actually talk with people, which is hard inside the club)
NeonAlien: I got a pair of Numark TT-1 Pro "Special Editions" (meaning they're just silver instead of beige). I've played with them for about 4-5 hours now, and they are solid TTs. I got the pair for $700 from a fellow TOTA (rahvin) from the Buy & Sell forums. In comparison, a brand new pair would cost you $1200+ brand new.
Viva people: fantastic job on making the night go smoothly. My only gripes would be that you need to be a little more specific as to where the shuttle was. I was waiting @ the wrong Yonge St. exit, when I see this school bus come around the corner and go North on Yonge. At which point, I took a cab. "Shuttle bus from Finch station at the municipal bus terminal" would have been more appropriate. Also, I wish you would play some more anime on those nice new TVs. Something about trance & anime just clicks... it was really getting me pumped during Peter Ivals at the Matt Hardwick party.
Also, thanks so much for the nifty keychain! I was waving it around all night (but I wish I had two!)
Finally, I would like to say that I would definitely like to see tickets sold from outlets for all future events. The club wasn't packed, but wasn't too sparse... it was at the PERFECT capacity IMHO. Also, it was a great crowd. No dumbasses following me around trying to sell me weed every 5 mins :D. I felt 100% safe the whole night, and had a blast just going around and dancing around different people :D
SUMMARY: SELLING TICKETS BRINGS THE GOOD KIND OF CROWD!
Orkidea, Ivals, J00F, and Deko-Ze were all amazing. Unfortunately I had to leave before Hartec, but we all know Hartec always puts on a good show.
I won't pick apart individual sets, because I was having too much fun to care less. All the DJs, residents and guests, did a F*CKING good job. I couldn't have asked for more. For An Angel was an amazing track selection by Deko-Ze. Those 5 minutes blew me away. It was a night full of new, unknown tracks, and a tried-tested-true anthem was just was the doctor ordered :D
Now, the only low-point was the OVERCROWDED bus back to Collingwood :D
I want to personally thank everyone who went to this party, whether I met you or not. You all made this such an awesome night. Hopefully I'll meet some more of you next time ;) |

Sorry for the late post. I just back home i hardly slept i reached home at about 8:45 am slept got up at 1:00 and headed to mississauga.
Sorry Igor i ditched you. i got the shuttle bus from viva since i had to leave early and didnt want to ruin you fun.
My thoughts about the party:
It was mind blowing all the Djs did a spectacular job.

Saturdary night was the most fun I've ever had at a party. The vibe was absolutely insane and there were so many of my friends to enjoy it with.
Orkidea and '00' were both on fire all night long. I have never seen so much energy come from the deejay booth for so many consectutive hours. Both John and Tapas are such resepectable guys who really made an effort to make this event crazy. Thanks to everyone involved.
Lets get both these guys back for a reunion party in the summer!
