HOLY.FACK!
I just woke up, what a night of recovering. I'm still nowhere near 100%. My week is already a write-off. heh
The party was dope, simple as that. Great people, great music, great party. Words to live by. It really is incredible the crew we have put together at parties, I never thought I'd see the day where I know at least 1/4 of the club on a first name basis. lol
You guys are jokes till the end.
Tatgirl: since you forgot to single me out in your shouts I thought you'd be first. You must have taken 60+ pic of me and my ing pink shirt. haha Those should be interesting.
Ray and Margs: As per usual, great partying with you guys, it's all about pvd. :p
Durafei: Funny how you've went from a complete stranger to one of my fav party buddies. Long live the russian militia.
Armada, E-Master, Mecha: you boys were so serious all night, were ya trainspotting? It wouldn't be a party without seeing Artem rush the dj for a ing autograph. haha
Hooman: I can't believe you made the trip up, it was great to see you and I hope to see you a lot sooner. Considering the chaos I did get to hang out with ya enough.
LKD: I thought you were gonna be on the DL for a while with that hand injury but I think it just pushed ya further. I kept yelling "lighta lighta" at ya but you didn't hear me. ahha
Az: AZ per usual it was great to boogie it up with the tallest ****** in the club, seems like whenever I saw ya you were far away back in the club somewhere, next time come and dance with the animals.
Infinity_High: Brotha, you were making the funniest faces in the end. Did you enjoy yourself? It's always nice to rock the floor with cha.
Highroller, Timetoburn: Jokes, I'm leaving it at that. :p You guys always make me laugh the most.
Endless Wave: I think I saw you a total of 5 mins last night. hah Strange we usually end up shooting the for a while. Next time buddy.
Maxtuh: Nice to meet ya man, I think we had numeous run ins with mr. washroom, my home away from home last night.
Desidel: Nice to finally be able to put a name to a face. You were always having a great time, something you need a party this huge.
Jazz: Triber? T.A? Both. Words I've come to live by. Nice to see you out man. (same with you Jasmyn, heh)
R.J: For some reason you and I always end up working something out on the dancefloor, lol. The politics of RJ. :p Nice to see you man.
Nytehawk: You haven't seen the half of it. :p
Wurm: Nice to meet ya, another one of the string of newcomers who I've finally met after venturing to Viva.
Swamper: You guys put on a solid night and you should be proud. Keep up the good work and you'll know we'll always be here to support it. Long live T.A.

i was in front of the booth and after one of the times when i put my lighter up, this security dude came around and flashing his torch around so i go to him "yo dude..watcha lookin for" and he goes "oh did u see anyone with a lighter here??" and i go..."thats me..watcha gonna do??" he goes "oh just dont put it up again"..i go "AIGHT DAWg"

Pretty good night altogether...Viva puts alot of $$$$ into their laser/lights/decor (with $6.50 drinks, i certainly freakin' hope so!), which adds to any space...but a little too dark for my liking at certain times...
...but anyways..on to the music...
Orkidea - Very smooth mixing and programming. Im not a huge fan of most of what he plays...(with certain exceptions of course), but i must admit he's got mad skills.
Flemming - Started of on the progressive tip (which bores me after awhile), and then started to bang it up with some hard thumping epicness. Wasnt quite as melodic in his track selection as ive heard him in the past. Seeing as im a uplifting/melodic JUNKIE, that took away from the overall set. But all in all...it was certainly a great set which had me dancing throughout.
Dekoze - Wasnt the best of his stuff in my opinion...however by the time he got on, i was a tired son o' bitch, so that coudve been part of the problem.
So....good night all in all. Got to see lots of friends i havent seen in a while, and got to look at some pretty ladies walking about (which is always good thing):tongue3
Next stop..........Destiny with PULSER...ooooooooh yeaaah.

Dood, I always take what you say with a grain of salt. Belive me, I am one of the most sarcastic people you'll meet too.. I think we get along great... :)

Sorry I had to leave early for the shuttle, I tried to get to everyone during my goodbye rounds. Flec, NeonAlien, tatgirl and those 2 sisters(?) from NY (can't remember their TA nicks), were people I missed, but it was nice seeing/meeting you guys and it was great partying with you too!!
now, I've got 2 new turntables to setup, so I'll write a full review tomorrow! |
