Without a doubt, James Holden ! Seen Ferry a couple times before and although he'll drops a good trancey set, with high energy level i don't think it'll cover any new ground. Maybe it's cause he plays at the Guv and people expect him to drop classics, or that he has a preconvied notion about what TO crowd like, but there's just something about his track selection that makes the set predictable. Mr Holden on the other hand...ahh, well lets hope he is given the freedom to drop the kinda set he wants cause the guy has a very diverse collection of records.
On a side note. Everyone is talking about Holden when there's another gem in Bill Hamel who in my opinion definately has the potential of blowing the Guvernment away. A fabulous producer in his own right, I can't wait to see this man on the decks. |

im a bit frightened now cos after all this anticipation, i got a newsletter from the site clubdistrict.com and they mentioned even Hamel but not holden..:conf: :conf: |
He's not mentioned in the newsletter (not sure why) but he's listed on Club District site with the proper flyer so rest assured he'll be there. Unless he has problems at the border or something. |

I agree, Hamel puts out some decent . I've been canning his remix of Lambs - Gorecki like there's no tomorrow. Are you sure he's gonna be in the guv? I thought he was in the KH with the rest of the uber trancers.
I WISH CHARLES WOULD GIVE US A ING LIST OF TIME SLOTS! |

Holden is a definate for me.
I've seen Ferry a couple of times so it's Holden's turn, although I'm worried...
I was talking to a DJ friend who mentioned that De-Kozi ran into Holden once (recently) and that he couldn't mix live worth .
Bad enough that anybody could tell.
I hate vicious rumours as much as the next person so I hope to hell that this is wrong! :nervous:
And BT is a definate as well!! :happy2: |

| I just got done listening to a set from James Holden. Deffinitely unique.....very progressive and dark, much like his productions. Someone used the term mezmerizing, good way to describe it. I liked it though. |
