"Asian-ness" of Viva (pg. 3)

I couldn't care less where people at parties are from, so the "Asian-ness" found at Viva doesn't bother me. Someone brought up a good point earlier that no one seems to go to other clubs and complain that they're 'too white'.
Yeah, the cracked out 40 y/o moms and dads is something you could do without, but the fact that they're (mostly) Asian is pretty irrelevant, considering that they could be of any race doing the same thing.
All in all, so long as whoever's there is there for the good stuff, I'm not bothered. I had a kick ass time at Viva and the vibe created by everyone there, namely TA's, is imcomparable. |

True, but I bet the Grateful Dead, Zeppelin, and Phish fans of our generation are wishing that their dads and moms didn't smoke up at those rock festivals either...
...even older + ed Asians generally like trance music, while the older white people listen to music they grew up with - i.e. rock music. It's just that we don't see them at their own parties. |

it's true eh .. i mean i've been to a Limp Bizkit concert before and i saw cracked out 40 year old white doods heh .. so i guess u'll find that stuff anywhere, it just depends on where u look .. |

but its true, i wouldn't be able to pick up a white gurl ever
not even a pity date
and there is absolutely nothing wrong with being in your 40's/mid life crisis age. Go to viva ANY night and you'll see people that age. just that they don't fit in at all. thats all. |

I could've sworn I remember seeing a thread here about this not too long ago. Anyways I'm asian and I've actually been with more white girls than asians. Sometimes when I hit clubs I don't go there specifically to pick up girls but I find myself getting hooked up with white girls often. I'm not too interested in asian girls even though I'm asian myself. Sometimes my friends ask me why this is so. I really don't know, maybe it's because I just want something different. It sucks now that I live in Markham and all the girls here are 99% fobs :nervous:
Anyways, maybe you're just trying too hard AAzn_ScratcH. I think things are changing and you see a lot more interracial couples nowadays. Just recently I found out from a very good friend that her best friend thinks I'm freakin' hot and that she has the hots for me, I didn't believe her at first but now it's been confirmed and I found out it's true that she does. I'm on cloud nine right now because this girl is SMOKIN' HOT!!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: She is absolutely gorgeous and sweet as hell and yep, she's white. :D She's someone that I would've never even approach because I've always thought that she was WAAAY outta my league and now to have hear this I'm totally estatic :) My friends are jealous as hell. This has really helped my confidence a lot. So yeah, I don't know what it is but I've really been so lucky with white girls. :)
So my advice to you, just keep lookin'. They're out there :D |
