I could've sworn I remember seeing a thread here about this not too long ago. Anyways I'm asian and I've actually been with more white girls than asians. Sometimes when I hit clubs I don't go there specifically to pick up girls but I find myself getting hooked up with white girls often. I'm not too interested in asian girls even though I'm asian myself. Sometimes my friends ask me why this is so. I really don't know, maybe it's because I just want something different. It sucks now that I live in Markham and all the girls here are 99% fobs :nervous:
Anyways, maybe you're just trying too hard AAzn_ScratcH. I think things are changing and you see a lot more interracial couples nowadays. Just recently I found out from a very good friend that her best friend thinks I'm freakin' hot and that she has the hots for me, I didn't believe her at first but now it's been confirmed and I found out it's true that she does. I'm on cloud nine right now because this girl is SMOKIN' HOT!!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: She is absolutely gorgeous and sweet as hell and yep, she's white. :D She's someone that I would've never even approach because I've always thought that she was WAAAY outta my league and now to have hear this I'm totally estatic :) My friends are jealous as hell. This has really helped my confidence a lot. So yeah, I don't know what it is but I've really been so lucky with white girls. :)
So my advice to you, just keep lookin'. They're out there :D |
haha preach it brutha .. i think AAzn_ScratcH feels this way due to stereotypes with interracial couples. it's not hard to disprove tho, i mean u'll notice a lot more white guys dating asian girls even when you walk around in malls. but it doesn't mean to say that it rules out the other possibility.. only that it causes a misconception. in the end it doesn't matter what ur race is, if u lack the confidence to even approach someone, you'll never get what ur looking for .. :D |

Actually, I'd really like to do a poll at U of T (and you can do a poll at Ryerson :p ) and ask females if they choose 'partners' on the basis of race. And which races too.
While I am part of the minority (Asian males don't normally go out with white females), I would like to reiterate that I still believe white women don't like asian guys.
This is all based on stereotype and yes, I remember the thread about this ages ago. The stereotype is that the man always would like to be with someone who is smaller than they are (egotistical sense), and the woman always wants to be with someone who is big and can 'take care' of them (security sense). Normally, Asian guys aren't the tallest nor are they the beefiest. So, white girls don't consider them.
However, I must say that I'm fairly new to this. I went to an all-boys private school for most of my life (laugh all you want :p) , and the two years of university thus far has made me open my eyes (somewhat). But I maintain that, aside from my girlfriend, I've not come in contact with any white girl that likes an Asian guy. Of course, if you were friends first (like in my scenario), there is a better chance that the white girl will see past your ethnicity and love you for who you are (woohoo).
Oh and one last thing to add... I find 99% of all Asian girls disgusting. I don't know why, but all my life, I've been convinced that if I'm not with a white girl, I'd rather be alone than be with an Asian girl.

See, I don't understand what this fascination with Asian girls is. I'm not treating "white girls" as something different in the way that you (you as in ALL of those with Asian fetishes) are.
For me, Asian girls are totally high maintenance, whiny, and annoying. If there were a down-to-earth Asian chick with big eyes.. lol... then she'd be the 1% that I don't mind.
But everyone has their own tastes, so... have fun blowing your wallet on useless stuffed toys for your Asian chick who spends more time on her cell phone than talking to you :) (lol sorry, I'm just kidding) And no, I've never really gone out with an Asian chick, but I just dislike them. Maybe 'cause I know a lot of them and they're all bitches. |

Well, by big, I don't mean just muscular, although that dude (I've seen him too :p ) is pretty damn built.
One more issue, actually with us Asian guys, is that there is a general tendency (stereotyping again, sorry) to hang amongst fellow Asians. I'm not just talking about FOBS who are from HK or Taiwan or Japan (though the Japanese hang about with others easier than the Chinese). I don't think seeing a bunch of CBCs talking about Counter Strike all the time is very appealing to a white girl. What people need to do is to break out of these circles, and destroy the stereotypes. |

Maybe it is a bit extreme, but I've always been rather introverted and maybe that's why I spend so much time online just surfing the internet, rather than going out to parties/etc.
Companionship is important, but only with someone you genuinely want to be with, whether if it's friends or your significant other.
I know a lot of you guys like to party, and I don't disagree with that (as everyone has a their own judgements), but I prefer to stay inside more often. Last party I attended was the Canada day party at Guvernment with Oakenfold last July! |
