barrichello got the better of schumacher this time around.. but what is ralph firman doing in 4th.?! that was a surprise!
anyway, i hope it'll be dry for qualifying, we want to see some williams upfront! |

| and we do see some williams upfront, great result! alonso put in a mesmerising lap as well.. this driver is truly remarkable, michael schumacher edged him out by just 0.001 sec.! and mclaren.. well, they can give up their hopes, that's for sure.. |

Too bad Kimi spun out on his qualifying lap, he starts from the back now :( Williams have done a great job though. Hopefully Montoya can get another win under his belt :)

Raplh taks pole again !! |

that was an undeserved victory by michael schumacher, if you ask me.. given everbody's pace he should have ended up fourth! it was williams all the way, damn straight line speed from ferrari.. :whip:
as for the driver of the day, it has to be fernando alonso once again, that man is genius!! |

Have top agree Alonso drove a fine race. He needs a car that can keep pace with the big three.
BTW i feel sory for JV. Again he got screwed on his home ground. BAR really screwed up his career. |

The pit stop exit is what cost Raplh Schumacher the win. MS drove right past him when raplh was doing the chicane. Although It was nice to see 2 williams on the podium for a change. Kimi Raikonen also had a nice race. He finished in 6th even though he started from pit lane ! |

As far as the race itself, I'm not gonna comment on it 'cause only 20 min after it was finished I found out the results from the masses of people that were flowing towards the exits.
GO WILLIAMS BOYS!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!
But the RUSH! That was wicked. The first few laps my hands were shaking and I couldn't snap properly because I was so excited. The pictures, surprisingly enough (from the General Admission seats ie. on the grass behind trees and fence around the track) came out well enough. It was my first time photographing the race, so I am somewhat pleased. Could have been better, but I didn't know what to expect as far as the track visibility.
So, it was worth it for the rush alone - the sound of 20 cars flying by you and the fans..
but how was the race? :p
MONTOYA ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!! |
