I am very curious as well... but I think we'll have to wait a bit longer for the reviews ;)

I just got back home (6:20am), had to carry my bro out of there (he had 16 beers too many), and get him back home... (and wtf am I doing here on this site anyway? I need to get some sleep!)

Anyway, in short, I think (music-wise) the only good thing about the night was Addy's first couple of hours, before BT came on... oh my god, that was some hardcore stuff. After BT came on, it all went downhill...
I've noticed a couple of you guys (Time2Burn, few other, I really can't remember the names, I'm still drunk out of my mind), Special K, Trancegeek and brunette, good seeing you again.

And damn was it cold outside or what?!

(I'm out.... too much alcohol for me last night)

Tonight was the night of many surprises...

Addy, great warmup, I thought he was fine.
BT, brought a lot of flavors to the table, including some old classics which personally got me crazy.
Holden, delivered exactly what he advertised, all hail king of the pixies!
Ferry, affirming his position as one of the best trance dj's.

Trevor, what you told me tonight is still the biggest mind of the evening. I just can't fathom how funny that is, it's a great story I'm gonna be telling people for a long time.

Highlights of the Night
- James Holden's class, what a top notch guy who just wanted to have a good time. He was dancing behind Ferry after his set. TOP CLASS.

- Holden dropping "Feel the Love" by Rui Da Silva, ing wicked track.

- Ferry's first hour, I loved it...progressive, melodic and best of all dutch trance with no cheese. I regained a lot respect for Corsten.

- Holden playing his remix of "It's a Fine Day" b Kirsty Hawkshaw (sp?). What a way to end a set, wow.

- AND OF COURSE THE ING T.A MASSIVE!!!! You guys were awesome, as per usual and kept me going all night long. I'll always consider you guys more than just party friends, you truely are great people who have contributed so much to my life. (oh my god, someone is still a little cracky if ya know what I mean)

Overall, I give the night a 7/10, the music was consistent, the vibe was excellent and best of all the ta's were in full force. Sorry I didn't get a chance to hang out with a bunch of you more often!

K... here's what I have to say, some of you may not like it but whatever, I'm being honest...

Music-wise it was a pretty amazing party. I was a little disappointed in BT, but other than that, I think the tracks were generally great. Especially Ferry; for all who left early or hung out in the Guv because they didn't want to hear his set, you guys missed out on a lot. He played a little bit of everything, even some breaks. It was awesome.

Having said that, despite the music, I just felt for the whole night like something was wrong. I was having a good time from the meetup (that is, when people actually showed up) until about 1½ hours into the club, and then again for the last 1½ hours just because I was so into Corsten's set, but for the many hours in between I was feeling like . I tried really hard to not let it be a downer on anyone else's night, though, so I'm hoping I didn't upset anyone. If anybody cares enough to read my complaint and offer some insight, I'd appreciate it a lot, but if you have the desire to flame, then don't bother, because I simply won't respond.

Maybe it was just because I'd had a bad week and a bad day and way, way too much to drink, but even after I sobered up things didn't feel right. Other than the fact that there were supposedly 70+ TA's and I saw less than 15, it just seemed like the TA vibe fizzled out despite the TA presence. I'm not going to name names, because it probably wasn't even intentional, but some people (TA) I met in the club were very cold to me, and my unsuccessful repeated attempts at creating a rapport with them left me more than a little insecure and hurt, to the point where I just couldn't take it. I think one or two of you may have noticed me sitting on the couch doing nothing like a crackhead, but rest assured I was completely sober at that time. Most of you who've met me know by now that I'm pretty upbeat (even when griping), and friendly, but once inside I'm also very shy and have a hard time hearing, and I felt like some people gave me an unnecessarily hard time because of that.

Anyway, just wanted to say that. I guess it's partly my fault for getting no sleep this weekend leaving me crabby and hypersensitive, and not bringing a friend that I can talk to if stupid happens. And again, I'm only saying that I personally had a rough night, I think it was a good party in general. Personally, I felt much better after Gielen.

Blah... anyway, I'm going to sleep, or try to anyway. Talk to you later. Sorry for the long-winded rant, maybe I won't even care in a few hours.

I thought Ferry blew away Tiesto. Some of you (you know who you are) were saying that Ferry was pure fromage. He quelled those rumours with a last hour to 1:30 of Hard Techno, Trance, Breaks and Hard House, displaying a broad command of electronic music. I thought this set blew away Tiesto's Dec. 14th set, resulting me in calling Ferry the 'people's champion'. And he actually shook my hand. *squeal*
He was really into it, and the crowd was receptive to his command of the party.

Third last song: Corduroy - Ferry Corsten Remix

I haven't had enough of 'Punk' so I'll stand behind that as a memorable point in the set. Actually after Punk he started to stray into other realms. There was no lack of hands-in-the-air, melodic, uplifting Trance moments either.

Great to see Hordash and Hardcore Trancer grooving to the end. Bigup the straightedge crew.:)

C'mon Desidel, there's no reason to hate on the candy ravers....

Waitaminnit, you're right.

They're everything bad about the scene.

Anyone who saw me last night can see the irony in my statement.

LMAO!!!!!!!
I know that girl on the left!!! You've probably seen her at some party, always wearing one of those junglist caps, button up shirt, tie, phat pants, & ALWAYS with the white gloves, for liquid dancing.
hansolo
UN inspectors should check Ferry's Vinyl case for ing massive bombs, cause he dropped about 20 on me. ( off its 9am).

The guy is epic madness non-stop.

System F - Solstice
Three Drives - Air Traffic
Gouryella - Ligaya
Eon - Pocket Damage
4x4 - Indigo
I cant remember the other 15 or so ass kickers that went down.

Mark also rocked it when I was over @ guv.

Overall, very happy, very broken (long long ductch trance weekend) but a satisfied trance soul.

Hey Nat, we kind of lost you in the parking lot.

Thanks for showing me to the other TAs, and listening to me babble sitting down.

You seemed to be having a better time by the end of Ferry's set.
