pardon my ignorance, but how is the US responsible for the mass killings in Yugoslavia? They only got involved in like 1998, but the fighting there was going on for much longer.

Your ignorance is pardoned... since oficially they got involved in mid 90's (whenever that was through UN, Nato, this and that), but politically they were in it before it even started in '92. There are whole bunch of speculations that they were the ones that actually started the whole thing, and had a plan of breaking up that country even in the late 80's.

Thats funny you would say that because if you ask any Croatian person, they would tell you that the US/Britain/France etc etc did all they could to keep it together (George W. Bush, James Baker, John Major) which makes sense as *someone might aruge* they were behind the creation of Yugoslavia from day one. If your referring to someone like Bill Clinton then maybe yea I might see where you are coming from as Yugo pretty much collapsed under his reign ... thats from a Croats point of you *kind of*! Its funny how every "person" from that area has their own view on all that that went down 10 years ago, 50 years ago, hundreds of years ago.

Nope you can pin that one on George W's father and his clan of friends! Clinton came in to power in 1992 I believer?! The conflict there really started in 89/90!

ah, i see...thanks :)

it's interesting how Special_K has a different view point...heheh, this is why I try to stay out of these convo's. Cause everyone has a different opinion and it all leads to senseless arguing. I mean, ya, the American government is ed, but you can't hate the country and all of it's people for it.

See, I don't hate the country and all of it's people... I just can't stand the stupidity and ignorance of the majority of their population, and yes, I truly hate their government.

Much effort needs to be devoted in discovering a cure for Bush’s madcowboy disease. What needs to be done to show to this madman that the planet is not his playground?

The scheme for an utter American Empire is so transparent; it might’ve not been so had the madcowboy promptly proceeded with the American aggression in Iraq, catching the world in state of confusion not allowing the opportunity to detect the devious plan. Now that he’s knee deep in it it’s too late to back out even though the 21st century's Fuhrer probably realizes now more than at the beginning that he committed a gargantuan blunder.

What fascinates me nowadays is the diminishing amount of hypocrites who are grasping at straws to justify America’s terrorism abroad, it just makes me sick to my stomach. America’s barbarian regime must be fought by all possible means, but hundreds of million’s of protestors worldwide certainly won’t have the slightest impact so then you wonder what options remain?

My feeling is that September 11th will be nothing compared to what America will face if they perpetrate the unilateral transgression in Iraq

obviously protestors won't man...they don't even know what they're protesting against. They all cry "Peace! Peace! Peace!" but what I wanna know is how does leaving Saddam in power keep peace?

Although I don't agree that the States should be the ones telling other nations what type of government they should have, Saddam shouldn't be in power. Either way you look at it; innocent people will die. But I doubt it's the innocent people that are the USA's top priority...
