I usually forget to buy them before the party, so I'm forced to get them inside, and they're usually like $4.00 each.

Bah :whip:

Hehehe, I admit it, I was into "glowsticking" too... for a few months. Then moved onto the photons (damn, those things are trippy), and got kinda bored of them after a few months, and sorta retired from that ancient skill of tripping the hell out of people (what a fun that was!)... but my boy Photon_Trance still carries on the tradition!

But I have to admit, those glowsticks/protons made me dance like crazy... :eyespop:

Well you asked for opinions...heres mine...glowsticks are GAY and I cant stand the people that use them, especially the morons that tie them to ropes and swing them around like possessed fools (whats worse is they do it at crowded parties). Ive been injured on many occassions by these things, I wish more clubs would ban them but I guess they want to make $$$ off them. I just dont get them?! Why people use them or even look at them is completely beyond me!!! Then again I never really understood why people go to clubs just to look at pretty lights either. They are annoying and ummmm yea did I forget anything?! No I think I just about covered everything I wanted to say!

So ummmm yea F glowsticks...!

:D

Haha that reminds me, I just found out that last weekend at Kool Haus one of my good friends (little french girl) walked right up one of the idiots grabbed the whistle out of his mouth and threw is across the dance floor. me I would have paid to see that..... :haha:

I remember the first time I used glowsticks I went mental whipping them around all peeking on E...but now I think back to how much of a fool I must have looked like. I still like them..they allow me to get lost in the music...and yes, they are only good with trance (for me anyway). I still use em sometimes, but knowing they annoy people is kind of a buzz kill..know what I mean? So I don't bother.

Actually, that issue is kind of ironic, considering my Girlfriend did it too some guy back in December when Tiesto was @ Kool Haus, and I DID see her do it. I thought the guy was goin to cry, she grabbed it out of his mouth and told him to shut the up, BUT she didnt throw it into the crowd... LOL!! I would have paid to see that as well, I IN hate whistles.. god, they were especially bad @ WEMF last summer!

since I can't resist complaining...

IMO glowsticks are silly...I don't mind if ppl want to dance w/ them it doesn't really bother me...when ppl are crouched on the floor in teh middle of the dance floor-- that's annoying

whistles and air horns: silly again...when it's someone in my vicinity it's really really annoying

I'm fairly neutral on photons and flashing accessories..not for me, but they seem pretty benign.

what really bugs the hell out of me is when ppl try to trip eachother out by liifting eachother up and lying on eachothers backs...like some kind of ed up high acrobatics.
1) it takes up too much space on the dance floor
2) there's something inherantly stupid about letting other high people lift you up
3) I really don't want to be someone's landing mat in the event of a fall

Its usualy done to strech out your spinal chord, to bring it back to its original shape.

Since all of your nerves travel through your spinal chord, this makes a very stimulating experience, even when you're not on drugs.
