| By sitting on your ass and doing nothing you are approving of America's actions. I don't think demonstrations will lessen the load of bombs dropped or the number of civilian casualties, but by protesting I am stating that I do not tolerate America's proceedings and do not support them.. and that I am against the war damn it! |

Hahahaa!
Two of the funniest things I've heard yesterday in Bush's speech were him blaming these attacks on Saddam (now where in the en world is reasoning in that?!), and then Bush making a promise to Iraqi people that he is coming in to save them and free them! WTF is that bull all about?!
Iraq has been under Saddam's rule for the last 20+ years, and just now the US found it convenient to start worrying about all those "supposedly torchured and killed" people in Iraq. I find that very hard to believe...
And asking Saddam to disarm and give up all the major missiles and weapons to the US/UN, so they can leave him defenceless and bomb the out of him anyway later on seems like a pretty "fair" offer... I'd do the same thing Saddam did - say " You, Bush, come and get me".
And the most interesting fact, that most of the dumb en Americans are overlooking since they trust their loved president so much is that Iraq is the second biggest world supplier of OIL (right after Saudi Arabia), and whoever tells me (even Bush) that one of the main intentions in this war is to get ahold of that oil is full of !
I'm with the Iraqi all the way on this one...
By the way, this Bush dude seems to me like a very arrogant mother ******, threatening to attack Korea because of their nuclear power too (what kind of a reason is that?!)... I certainly hope he will try and do something stupid like that, because then Koreans would just slap him in the face, send a couple of nukes (yes, they can reach the US) towards Bush, and the rest would be just history in the making (World War III anyone?). |

| to add to your comments Fantom, for 30+ years the US didn't give a about the people living in iraq even supporting Saddam in his war against Iran by supplying him weapons and chemical weapons (they did give the same things to the Iranian side but everyone learnt that later). Saddam gazed iraqis and the US didn't say a thing, now you tell me that the US suddenly cares about the iraqi people?!?! haha hypocrites. |

one last thing before I forget (sorry about the numerous posts).
The USA did permit the Turkish forces to enter northern Irak where there's a great majority of Kurdish people. These people had a big hope that the US would let them live in peace in the future Iraq (an autonomous province of some kind) and what do they have today, geting backstabbed by allowing Turkish army in. This is a direct confrontation between the Kurds and Turks and a huge set back to the promises made by American officials to the Kurdish opositions.
Another example of how the US really CARES about the Iraqi people. |

All these people thinking that if they protest the war bush will stop what he is doing are idiots. he has already made up his mind and he doesn't care about the people of the other countries as we have already seen with the protests all around the world. after all that he still went in.
No matter what you do Bush will still have the americans support and he won't stop this until hes done so pretty much protesting is a waste of your precious time |
Why don't you got tell those millions of people who did protest that they did it for nothing, and then see what they do to you. Ya, thats what I thought. |

| What would they do? Respond with violence (irony++)? Just like them, I have the democratic right to walk beside them and say that I support this disarmament of Iraq. Oh how I love protestors. Especially the ones who "protest globalisation". I love how their way of protesting is commiting juvenile acts of vandalism. I love how you could ask any sampling of people at a protest what exactly they are protesting against and you would get atleast 3/4 of them not knowing what the they are protesting against. All they wanna do is wreck . |

um...Since I don't have any personal footage of any protests (since I have no reason to go), I direct you to any footage off of any reliable media-source of the following events:
1. G8 summit when it was in Genoa, Italy
2. Summit of the americaa (or whatever it was called) when it was in quebec.
3. WTO summit when it was held in Seattle
Sure, I beleive that there are many protestors out there that actually know what's going on and I give them much respect for protesting. It's the idiots who don't have an opinion, don't know what they are doing at the protest, and are only there to create as much of a ruckass as possible. You ask any protest organizer who they hate and they will say the douchebags that wreak havoc. The good message is lost in all the wreckage these idiots create. |
