All these people thinking that if they protest the war bush will stop what he is doing are idiots. he has already made up his mind and he doesn't care about the people of the other countries as we have already seen with the protests all around the world. after all that he still went in.
No matter what you do Bush will still have the americans support and he won't stop this until hes done so pretty much protesting is a waste of your precious time |

part of the first Gulf War came to and end due to US public opinion against it .. and so did the Vietnam war.
protesting might not be useful .. but it could be the only thing the world's got .. |

sorry buddy, but you are being the idiot thinking that millions of people marching doesn't affect the authorities in place.
Of course you won't see Bush say out loud that the demonstrators will change his mind, but it affects his decision making... look at how the war started, it was a mild attack because they don't want civilian casualties which would show an ugly face of this war to Americans. The moment the number of casualities on the American side hits the 500 number, look out for huge demonstrations in the US.
And btw staying at home and smoking a joint really doesn't change a thing ;) |

| your also being an idiot though because your not thinking of the millions more of american people sitting on there asses at home who support the war. the people against it are almost nothing compared to the people for it and people will always stay on bush's side no matter as long as he keeps saying hes gonna free the Iraqis people. |

hehe i won't post any polls results because I don't believe in them :)
What I will say instead is that historically, Americans always stand behind the stance their president takes during war. But believe me, that will change drastically once those filled green bags will start arriving on the American soil.
It took 20 something casualities for Americans to retire from Somalia, about 450+ pulvirized troops in Beirut in 82 and they pulled out asap.

i know bush won't stop the war just because my fat ass will be on the streets saturday. It is a shame to start something as big as this war and then pulling out like that, he will pass as a coward for the rest of history.
that being said, showing him and 200000 others that i am against this war is what I can do personnaly against this madness. |
