not you evidently... but a lot of other people do. you can call it a rework just because everyone is bitchin about em so you have a hot word, big deal. its completely different from the original, which most of us find lacks a whole lot in production. but hey, that's why they're called opinions. |

There are two reasons why there is so much dissapointment around here:
1) This tune was just as overhyped as Southern Sun (Tiesto remix). Then the full version came and the flamin started.
2) The live rips sound much better than the original because it was played faster, the bass was stronger, he makes a great job playing it live. But then after several months of hearing the "live" version, it comes the full version and everyone is dissapointed.
He added some minor things to the final version but it is the same masterpiece, one of pvd best productions.
Club Mix 10/10
Now the Vandit Mix... hmmmm... I dont why but I hear this Kylie-Minogue-bassline that makes it sound so bad. Anyway I dont have the vinyl so I dont have any right to critize it, so the last thing I said is not valid :D |

I like vandit club mix.. Its just such a rip off from Lustral - Everytime (Nalin & Kane Remix). Ugh. Still pretty good though.
Vocals also sound cheesy at times with the whole "Hi yaaaaaaaaa-ya-ya-ya-ya-yaaaaaaeee yaaaaaahhhhh" thing going on, but its catchy I guess..

I just listened to Vandit Club Mix, which absolutley BLOWS, and the PVD Club Mix
WTF HAPPENED!?!?!
PVD totaly gayed up this final release of it
Those godawful tetris/pop-corn song like synths he added to the background totaly up the entire song!!!!! wtf

Something is amiss here. The sample on PvD's site for the Vandit Club mix sounds totally different from the rip of the Vandit Club mix. Is this the fault of PvD's site, or of the rip title?
If that really is the Vandit Club mix, it really, uh, sucks.
Meanwhile, I don't know why everyone is throwing a fit about the PvD Club mix. Pitched up on a decent soundsystem I don't notice that much difference from the roughcut liveset version, if any. Can anyone enlighten me as to what exactly these differences are? Also, those tetris-like sounds are pretty insignificant if you ask me, and really not that bad.
The Cirrus remix is nifty. |
