I could tell you what they say, but you may feel that its bias coming from a Jew. I can try and find sources from the torah (in English). You be your own judge, I know what it says and don’t think anyone should be offended by it.

There are many Torah's in English! Almost ever synagogue has multiple copies. There is commentary in it further elaborating on what is said. Then there are the wise men who comment on that, and then there are the sages who comment on all that’s been written already. |

How the hell do you come up with a comparison like that?

And, btw, melech, I don't think communism should be put in the same basket as nazism and fascism. While it is true that communism didn't turn out to be a good system, it is because it's ideology was greatly misinterpreted. And even regardless of the misinterpretid ideology it was still a more fair system. |

Hehe fair in its oppression on everybody. Well almost fair ... like Orwell said, all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others :). But I agree, in principal there is nothing wrong in Communism and actually in its ideal application there are many benefits to such a society. It's too bad that the Soviets essentially raped that form of government. |

I am not comparing dude, i am giving you an example of movements that people might hate, and yes for example i hate Zionism for several reasons i won't go into details especially with you. |

| I'd just like to say most organized religion is just bull propaganda... the Bible says lots of stuff about "slaying non-believers" and ... I dunno, religion just seperates people. Just my opinion. |

So I have been away for a long while and a friend of mine just sent me this link, which has brought me back into this forum, this particular thread.

If you were truly, and honestly trying to refute Islam, or even authenticate your posted article, would you truly do it before a TA community? The truth is, like many others have so blatantly and pointly shared - you are doing nothing but promoting "hate" indirectly from someone's work during a world crisis where the media is currently bashing all people of said religion, Islam. If you in fact really were persuing enlightenment on the religion, or were truly trying to refute the religion, you would have taken your article, your questions (which you have none, and never posted any and your thesis) to a Wiseman, an Imam and have asked them there.
Its quite amusing that other posters here have inquired about the Jewish you immediately instructed them or pointed out that there are religious leaders with that knowledge that you can seek council from. Believe me when I tell you this, that there are those same type of wisemen and leaders for all faiths out there that would have better answered your queries. Your intentions here are malicious. They hold as much weight as the American Generals and the Bush Administrations that inform the Media that they have found suspected sites of Chemical or Biological or Mass Destructive Weapons only minutes or days later to say that it was a false alarm. The damage is done. Most of the ignorant world will listen to HALF of the message and miss the truth.
I am not saying you can not ask this question here, by all means you have the right. But please recognize that many of the people who have challenged you, even those of your own faith, have already found out your intent. You may not be racist, you may not be discriminating, I do not know nor do I care. What I do know is that you posted one article in a Trance website under their political section and you have discredited the work of someone who worked for 35 years without even looking at their text. Your actions speak for themselves.
There are many articles written by religious competitors that site sources of their work refuting opposite religions. Do these articles hold weight? That is up to the reader. One question I ask you is, what is the religion of said author? Heh... or is that already known? With all due respect Mike, try out something more academically viable.
You said until someone discredits the Jewish faith scientifically you will stand firm in its belief. I do not think science is able, or ever will be able to discredit any religion for that matter. Science and Religion are based on two fundamentally different principles. One (creation) believes in a supernatural entity, where science calls for things that just came through evolution of matter. Both will always contradict one another. Some believe strongly in one or the other and others find harmony in a mutual relationship between the two. History however plays a different role. The science of history can and already has refuted language based on time-stamps, etc. You would be surprised what a historian (close friend of mine) that practises no religion has come to find about the Torah. He did not discredit - but there was an interesting find none the less. His work was quenched by the academic powers that be. This is the real world - where mystery is the key. Faith is a the product of the heart and for some it is a means to manipulate people, communities, etc.
So without further comment I will simply state. The proper way to refute a religion of which you know nothing about is to take it to someone that knows details on it and pose your questions there. Only when you do this would your actions and intent be a true seeking of just enlightenment or refute.

Note: Chances are I will not be back, don't care to be. It was just shocking to see this going on - I thought it was enough on TV. People tend to be afraid and hate what they know nothing about. Its human nature... Try to go against that, and research more than ONE article...
