Arrow Mekka Diamondback Remix 192k 6mb Sample

Hey,

Inpsired by another thread here I decided to make my own remix of one of my fav' tunes.

Download !

By the way, Bren-F mentioned that he has the vocal adlibs for the tune, but ive tried Pm'ing him and had no response, does anyone else have them?

Cheers, Dave

Cool to see another remix here, must have followed mine

The samples Bren-F has were just picked from the original, from the break. So you have to cut off the lower freqs of them, which is quite hard I noticed. Also, the original seemss to clip somewhat, dunno, quality isn't too good...

As for your remix.. my little pc-speakers tell me you got some nice work going on here, nice synth sounds. Very calm remix, I like it. Climax could be bigger, and nothing new is brought to it, but still, good quality.

Will listen on a bigger set this afternoon...

Cheers
-Jay

Cool

not bad like, it feels like there aint a lot of any low frequency bass and there seems to be no percs towards the lower midrange or the mids have been taken out. synths are rather decent, but the lack of bass just makes it feel empty to me.

Hmm dunno, I'm hearing a decent amount of low freqs in my headphones so I imagine there's at least a decent presence of it there. The quality of this remix is good, but it sounds like it's only 75% complete or so and lacking the sort of bells and whistles you tend to need in a trance tune these days to keep the ears interested. Some effects and more elaborate percs would definitely do the trick. Other than that, sounds quite nice!

Thumbs up

hey Dave_Masters
not a bad track, i didnt hear the original so i dunno but the melody is really chilly feel, i like it a lot
some thiings i can suggest are that u need to add more percs perhaps, maybe another layer for the bass, and add more fx because when it ends every 4 bars or whatever it sounds a little empty, otherwise its pretty good stuff

keep it up
