Hi hi hi!
I try to remix this good track from the last Tiesto album.
I don't use the strings intro. I don't want to make a similar track. So now, it's more Rank 1 style.
I let you listen to:
---Dj Tiesto - Forever Today (Open-mind remix)---
just rename the opm file in mp3.

I quite liked the original
This one is ok too
liked the efx in the beginning, bassline is nothing special but it does the job.. same with hats and clap. Synths during buildup are ok tho they lack a bit power imho (maybe some more efx will do the job).
I'd remove the claps from the break. Didn't like the strings in the break, too low also? I think maybe some layering / fx will do the job. I like what you did with the melody but same with strings they sound too low pitched imo.
Nice job after all as it's a hard job to remix such brilliant pieces of music.
Open-mind le download ne fn pas, on est redirigé vers une page lycos qui dit d'aller voir une certaine page d'accueil qui n'existe pas...

I see much potential in this track. I love what you've done with the symphonic melody part adding add echo-y, techy sound to it. I like the percs, although they are a bit loud and tend to drown out a lot of the rest of the track. Sometimes during the buildup (which is too short, btw), at like :40 you just drop in a melody like that... way too abrupt IMO. Aside from that, sounds good!

nice track but original is better ok the into part is better
work more on your bassline and percussion parts!
synthpad sounds too flat to me but that IMO!
keep it up!
last "symphony" song was way much better

Nice tune
Main Melody could be longer and sounds more classical (otherwise than original mix), but overall is ok

when i decided to remix this track, i wanted to make it classic. The tiesto mix is original. I didn't want to copy him.

Hmm.. the kick/bass combination sound a bit weird.. Esspecialy the the kick.. It sounds so.. round, dunno how to discribe it good, it could use some more real kick. The bass itself is nice.
The rest of the track sounds nice. It's very different from the original, I like that. I thnink you used too much release on the lead synths. Could be the strings I dont know, but I hear a rithm, but I can't hear it good, that's a bit irritating me.
Melody is nice of course. Few things would IMO need improvement: the bassline seems the first preset of v-station, could be a lot fatter. No real new sounds are in here, heard this heard that. Superstring are ok tho. Try to put another layer on the kick, like a hihat, to bring it upfront a bit more.
Percs are ok maybe add some more here and there. Buildup is good.
