Hello! Echano - I'm On My Own (Summer 2004 Rework)

Hello, it's me again. Thanks for all the feedback on Tranquility, it's much appreciated. Now it's time to share the second of three reworks, this one being an update of an old track called I'm On My Own. It's a lot different to my other material, but if you don't like it don't worry because I've saved what I think is the best for last!

Without further ado, then:

Thanks.

Hey Mart

I'm a bit into lounge as well, and this would fit on a lounge cd. Breaks in this tempo are very relaxing, really well done! Whispering voice makes a bit fun loving criminals-like. It's cool. Piano is good. Dreamy fx pad like at the back, and the other fx are nice too. Piano reminds me a bit of Imagine. Higher notes coming later make it just a bit to busy. Less is more in these tracks IMO. The piano is constantly playing now, i think it would have been better to leave it away for some time, just for that extra relaxing feeling. It's a tad too much..

Other than the last things mentioned, this is some high quality relaxing breaks shit, for us all to get sleepy to Thumbs up.

this is gorgeous mate. really really nice breaks. lovely bass and belly synthy sounds. really cool! those vocals are also really nice but i think they need some reverb along with that delay, just to make them osund like they are coming from the sky! piano in the break is nice, but i think a bit to harsh, try closing an lp filter on it, that seems to work great on pianos, sounds really soft but still has effect. also a bit too much delay for my liking on the piano. other than those minor nit picks this is perfect in my eyes. really really like it. takes alot of skill to pull of breaks which sound that good.. so well done! At the second break now, all sounds lovely, but again that piano is a bit harsh for me, also the release on the pad could do with being a bit shorter so that the notes dont merge together so much, but again thats just a tiny detail, there is nothing critical to say so im nitpicking in the hope that you can make it from 99% perfect to 100%

Keep it up buddy.

Amazing and relaxing piece of work, much better than the original version IMO. Flows on nicely with all the elements going well together with the great breaks. Something i will def. play in a chilled set. I have never had anything to complain about your tracks so far and this isn't an exception either.

I hope you keep up doing these great tracks and remixes, matey! I never get tired of them.

Reworks are fun!

I'll get back once I have it and have some time to listen - just scrolling the boards for some interesting things

really really nice tune mate

perc worked really well.. great variation too.. lovin the more complicated piano melody with that nice delay... i think keep away from the lower and higher notes though as it loses the sound of a genuine piano...
tremelo'd rhodes sounds lovely.. as do the strings..

nice composition here mate.. great work

lovely track, mate. the piano sounds sounds a tad artificial with all that delay, but i love the melodies, especially the main one that comes in about three minutes into the track. gorgeous strings as well.. all the elements complement eachother very good indeed.

great production.

Cheers Mart, another Echano tune to add to my collection. (14 now ).

It's a lovely bit of work. So chilled and relaxing. I loved the bit at 6:40, although it ended so suddenly afterwards...

Can't give any technical pointers, but I can say I enjoyed it.

Thanks.
