CHEERS FOR THE COMMENTS GUYS. COULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS?
| quote: | | DJ PYSTER - That sounded pretty good, how did u get the bass to sound like that, like which effects and synths did u use to get that kick ass sound. |
I used a tweaked z3ta+ preset for the mid bass, going on an alternating two octave pattern, which all sub frequencies eq'd out, then applied some chorus and a slight delay to fill it out.
For the sub bass I used a tweaked albino preset, with only the sub frequencies coming through.
| quote: | | MOTH - lead synth sounds annoying, eq is not good. Its kinda boring, just your average euphoric attempt. |
Fair comment. Not your thing obviously. Why is the eq not good tho? Ive eq'd out all the frequencies that shouldnt be in there, or have I got rid of too much low end
| quote: | | SISTERBLISS - Percs are horribly drowned out. Bassline is too thin. Melody is also too thin. Take off the HP filter on the melody and add a lowered octave on the bassline, run the percs through a compressor, and post up a sample again. |
The percs I can undastand, spent about 5 seconds on them just to fill out the tracks. This isnt full production quality. Who do you mean that the bassline is too thin? I think I know what you mean for the melody lead, being that not enough low end is preset, I can fix that. Why do you think I should put in a another lowered octave on the bass? I dont really get it.
