Finally a new Yarune track: Yarune - Airballoon. It's finished for a while now and got support from a.o. Jonas Steur, Leon Bolier, .. and now I'm promoting it here to get some feedback on it. I hope you like it.
that main synth sounds really oldschool, thats why i like it
the only thing i would have change is the bassline, but its just personal preference, i would have tried a different type of bassline, but the one u used fits the track perfectly.
Im liking the delayed synths at the beginning, Kick and bass is powerful. I may say put more percussion in there but nah keep it simple and effective . Nice synth work, all your productions are "light" sounding and this by far is totally yarune.
A few lack of effects here and there but i think the track has gone for the simple approach. Nice downlift into the break, luv that high synth. Coming intro the break is cool, nice effects with the pitch bend and the pads are cool too, very atmospheric, the title really suites the track.
Good stuff, keep it up jay.

Hey J
Very nice atmosphere in this track indeed, the bass is interesting, I do quite like it - fits the track well. Breakdown is very nice, but I don't think it is needed to be this long. The lead synth is cool too - overall a very dreamy track -enjoyed this one.

Nice bassline but I'd add a sub to it if I were you.
good lead.
The breakdown is nice.
nice sparkling bell thing.
I'd add a second layer to the pad.
The break is a tad too long.
Nice back-lead.
I like this.
You use a lot of nice original elements in this track which makes it a rather pleasant listen. I am not really liking the kick and bassline though the growling bassline makes the track sound slower and less smooth than it could i.m.o.
Your break is indeed a bit too long, the atmosphere however is fantastic, long breaks are quite nice on cd's such as ISOS. This track reminds a lot of Romi's tracks and the leadsynth also reminds a bit of it. What I like most of the track is the little synthlines which are underneath the lead synth and during the build up, those are quite excellent and original.
I agree with Terry Barker, excellent choice of the tracktitle. My compliments for that, finding a title is difficult.
Overall the track does lack a bit of energy and that is mainly because the bassline and percussional work are a bit unsophisticated for this sort of track. However it was a very pleasant listen. For someone who always criticises other people's work for being unoriginal or not doing the trick in 2005 I had expected a more stunning track though

Awesome vibe, and great melodies. Nice synthwork on the main lead, pitch bend during the breakdown is a nice touch. Good fx work, the downwards wooshes sound like you're moving up through the clouds.
I really like what the bassline is doing, but it lacks something; nice original sound though. The percussion is eq'd really nicely, crunchy + bright but not lo-fi. Nice work man!
@ Nomen: Well you know how it goes, you work on stuff to try different things and then somethings rolls out which feels good how it is at that moment. I can't imagine another bassline underneath it anymore, but I agree that it takes out the tempo a bit. But have you ever seen an Airballoon traveling through the air at high speed
I like having original things in tracks most of the time, for music's sake.. But it's hard to place this in the middle of sets, tho DJs may want to build up the sets with this.
