I recently bought an acoustic compilation album. The original of this track was on there. As soon as I heard it, I knew the powerful vocals & awesome guitar melody were destined for big things
So I decided to play around with the track some - this is the outcome!
Like my previous offering 'Panther' - I have experimented a bit with this track. I reckon it sounds pretty good
It has dark, driving beat matched with some strange FX in the build up , which I have purposly kept super-simplistic for added damage when the guitar riff kicks in
From there, it's a mish-mash of several ideas & general weirdness
As always:
All comments, feedback & critique are welcomed.
Regards,
Brendan
PS - do yourself a favour, and go check the original track out

Nice one, i really enjoyed listening to it.
Here's some thoughts:
- The vocals / guitar seemed to be off few times, maybe you can fix that (example: 1:50)
- The synth that comes in at 4:02 and continues over the first main part gets a bit annoying after a while, as it's 1 1/2 minute the same tone over and over again. Maybe some variety and a filter would help
- The same synth disappears a bit too "harsh" at 5:26, some transition would be good
- What i really liked was that the first and the second main part were different and not like in many tracks the same
Nevertheless, great tune!

Hi Bren, how are you today
First thing what comes up is that the kick sounds a bit weak with the acid synth fx thingy. Guitar and vocals are pretty nice. Hm Im expecting some more interesting pads or something to hook me up here, cause apart from the phaser over some parts of the track it's a bit dull/standard sounding. But the vocal and guitar I really do like. After the break there's this upgoing arp, well placed.
Apart from a few things this is a very nice track. I'd personally would like to see it more spicy.
