Wayfinder - Identity

Hmm. this one is interesting, very good. Like the general use of sounds and the composition. Nice melody there

Nothing special with the kicks/perc, but it works. The bassline works awesome in the main melody, which I didn't expect when first hearing it. Good job!

I think you should consider remove some empty space in the end, Never liked it that way. A little is good, only a few sec, but not more.

Strings are simple, but fits. I would try to use more layers to thicken it a bit. And maybe brighten it up too. Dunno if you've already tried it but it might work.
The intro.. that's the worst part of the track. Those sounds drive me insane. I suggest you do something about it. However it works ok when mixed with other sounds.

It's a really good track, but a few changes in it and it will be even better. Very good!

I will comment the other track later..

Hey these tracks are pretty good, very uptempo and uplifting!

You could give them some more power... e.g. with environmental sounds, more room... dunno, maybe you can think of something. And IMO the lead sounds are a little to loud.

Quality is very high though uplifting trance isn't very popular... But you seem to know what you're doing. I like the melody in the beach a lot. And the one in identity is ok too.

Good work!

The Beach:

Pretty wicked intro. Breakdown at 1:03 or thereabouts was rather unexpected, especially with the drumroll at 0:55.

Background strings sound too synthy for my tastes, if you get what I mean. Nice lead, although I think it could benefit from a little less 'verb. Percs come back in rather unexpectedly.

I really liked the overall feel though, good job.

Identity:

Once again, wicked intro. Same deal with the breakdown as above. Buildup was more expected this time though, which is always nice. Surprises are nice too, but not the type that are anti-climatic. Really liking the lead melody, along with the harmonies. Might be the encoding, but the lead synth sounds pretty dry to me.

Try adding some higher frequencies to the bass, that way your note modulations in the relief style will be more apparent.
