Hello! Brutally honest criticism wanted...

So yeah. As the title might suggest, I wish to get some brutally honest criticism on a somewhat cheesy trance song. I was just fooling around with some chords a few months back, and then I ended up trying (for kicks) to create a supersaw-ish sound...

...and then I decided to finish it. Not only because I liked it, but because I wanted to see just how much others liked it.

So, feel free to be brutally honest and candid (that helps ME the most, anyways), and go ahead and tell me what you think of my song. I'm trying to gauge whether or not it's TOO cliche for people to enjoy. The reactions I've gotten so far are basically "cliche, but I like it."

But people on this board tend to be more frank.

(Amazon.com link coming.)

(If IUMA would actually get around to doing their server maintenence that they've been promising for 6 months, I would upload there and give a link for direct downloads. Seriously, what the hell has been up with them?)

Ok.

Don't like the ploppy kick, the too simple bassline,

Sudden change in chord is ok and the piano is not that ever-too-easy sounding, so that's a plus.

I do like some of the FX in your track. But the synths and percussion are very basic. The filter over that piano-like instrument and sounds very basic too. The main job for you is to phatten up the all sounds. You need more percussion too.

Hope that helps.

This aint too bad.

The kick realy sucks, the piano is rather nice. Good structure. I think you'r main problem is complexity, im not talking about the FX, cause they are good , but the track lacks perc, and the bass is simple and doesnt do it for me. The melody is abit cheesy... but if you like it then go for it . Just keep working on you'r tracks and you'll see a huge improvment after awhile, you got the talent, i say.
In conclusion - nice summer track, pretty calm, still need to tight up that bassline.

Cheers
Influx.
