Mint one, sounsd great mostly, only don't like the parts where we only hear teh bassline (doesn't function that good on it's) and at the peak I think everything gets a bit obscured (might be on purpose)

Heey Sunquest!

I don't like the kick, did you cut off the highs on it? Low quality sample? Could be a lot better IMO. And did you make the FX yourself? It's ok, but the quality sounds like it's a low MP3 from original, try to do something about it. Maybe it's just the whole mp3 (only 112 kbps).

Really like the synths you used, all of them! The melody is cool too. Percs are pretty decent, makes it all uplifting. Bassline is great!

Great stuff overall dude!! Just a little EQ-ing and better kick and fx would make this top notch IMO. Keep up!

Cheers
-Jay

Dear Sunquest,

Wow. Quite the uplifting song. Good or bad, you (as in the listener) decide. But I like it a lot.
The strings in the beginning of the song are predictable. I think I have used that chord progression before.
I like your bass a lot. But I dont think you should start the main build up with the bass coming in first. I dont think it can handle that on its own. Not the greatest build-up but your right there in terms of almost making it great.
As far as the melody goes, its great.
There is a lot of potential in this song. Please post a finished version once youve got it done. I am anxious to hear what youve created.

Keep well,

Hollen

thanx for replies guys, about the kick, im having trouble finding a good one but im gettin there
the strings in the beginning i kind of just threw in there, didnt really look for a special pad, but if i find a really nice one to match ill put it in
about the bassline being on its own, i agree its not too good, ill have to think of something for that,
the FX i didnt make but i edited them,
thats pretty much it
thanx again for replies
anymore listeners?

I'll keep my fingers crossed. But send also your "stars above" to him. It is still my favourite and perhaps he thinks like me...
