hi,
thanks for posting this link.
It's really a gem and in my opinion a perfect remake of the original track ...

I recognize this, This piece of music was played durring the underwater levels of Donkey Kong Country on the SNES, I think people should start doing trance remixes of nintedo and super nintendo music, I feel a lot of them would sound great if done right.

the release on that pad makes it sound really muddy, not sure i realy like it to be honest. its alright, but i dont think itwould work terribly well as a trance remix. too slow and has too many elements i think, unless one idea from it was extracted and remixed, im not sure it would work. worth a try though if anyone is up for it. not too keen on this piece of music i have to say

you know what?? this has been on my mind for a while now and i love the music in the donkey kong game...

You did a pretty good job here, most of the notes are right here and the synths are kinda similar as well...

gonna pop in the old donkey kong country and play thru it and i'll tell you if i manage to do a remix =)

How cool to find this here! I once started with a remix of this, great dreamy sounds. I wasn't that good at music back then (I was better at playing DK ). This is tad faster than the original. But dude, you did a great job! Close to the original!

Remixing this.. maybe, I already have a nice remix to listen to right now

rargh you mad people!

i've been thinking on toying with this for a while, but never really came up with a way to play on the idea.. although im loving this version. really captures the atmosphere of the one from the snes..

I have a MOD file of the track, which you may be able to extract the sample from, if you can be bothered

if you interested i'll upload it.. my host is having a small problem right now.. or it would be uploaded

Steve
