Cool [Uplifting]Sunquest-Airborne(Massive Remix)<Full 256>

Hey hey.

weeeeeeeeeekend!! so i can produce no school, no tired nothing but Reason!

well been drawing the idea for this remix yesterday and worked on it from morning today till now.

quite happy with it tbh, really digging it .

things that are different from the Original

This sure feels different.
Different bassline(not chords)
Different structure .

it's bit long but i prefer to make things dj friendly and long builds so i avoid 2 climaxes hehe.

I think the mix is ok, but am not 100% sure, guidelines and tips are welcome .

Made with Reason 2.5 and headphones

Enjoy, Fahad.

yayy, im first to post again
first off, the fx are amazing, theres this one that comes every once in while, its dark, sounds exactly like M.I.K.E. style
now the breakdown... love the cut up voice... really oldschool feel
wow, the guitar roll up thing, veryyyyy nice, maybe just lower the volume on that just a little bit, not much
overall great remix, mastering is really good, i still gotta learn from u

listening ' i loved the original..

good percussion at the beginning, good layers + sweeps (one of them is quite dark ). + "dark" synths too !

im listening on headphones, i cant really talk about bass but it sounds smooth from here .

Buildup structure is classic but its good. Main part has some good energy in it, lead synth is not my favorite i heard from you.

Overall it flows well, and everything sounds clear ! good mix i'd say.

nice job !

Dont you just 'facking' love trance when you hear stuff like this? Indeed...

Love the bassline, and although everything builds really slowly, theres more than enough going on to keep it interesting.... And sometimes we just love a repetitive groove!

When we (finally) get to the breakdown, everything is mellow which I like. Lovely pads and that synth is wicked! Once its all kicking off, its just amazing. Love this track.

Now my complaints... First off, I thought the kick drum was a bit strange, it sounded a bit heavey and a little distorted. Once everythign gets going its not too bad, but you could make the whole track so much better by cleaning this up a little.

Other thing is the whole mix sounds too loud - its like you've squashed everything out of it. I'm guessing its the limiter you've used, if so consider backing off just a little to let the mix breath and add some clarity.

Overall its a rocking tune! Keep up the good work, and continue to perfect your skills.

ouch i dont like that kick as all. everything else sounds pretty mint. bass is quite basic tho. i think it could do with some work on the levels, eq, etc, and it really could do with a new kick. this really sounds like your normal average everyday tune, i think it lacks something to really make it stand out. overall nice work tho dude

To be honest I agree with that, it's a nice tune but it didn't stand out as something really good, I think I prefer your productions to your remixes, they're more memorable. Apart from the kick which has been mentioned already, the production sounded good to me, no complaints there.

Not too fan of the kick either. Lead synth is a bit thin. I like the melody tho. Some parts are a bit minimal but i like it. I enjoy listening to the whole so nice work!

OK things changed.

Intro got cut at the end 16 bars, and the kick got replaced.

So how is it now ? oh ya and it got masterd with more room, as pete b mentioned

yo dude, listening on headphones to adapt the premises

good tune

overall the drums are very good. unique percusions: like those bongo things. i dont see any problem with the bassdrum, sounds accustomed to me. clap and hats sound usual.
synths quality could be enhanced a bit. some more delay, reverb and filter modulation would be cool. lead sound needs some more release imo. phaser effect at 4.50 sounds cool. great breakdown, overall great atmosphere.
buildup works, nice effects.

That bongo sample in the start doesn't follow the kick 100%, try to adjust the BPM so they match, sounds like bad mixing atm. However, you've done it pretty smooth so 'common' people wont notice it. Otherwise it's pretty good, the kick needs work as many agreed in. Good standard, decent concept mate, dancefloor track, Anjuna-style-track.

keep it up
