M1cro5lave - Restart
Ok, this is the first time I've ever made a thread here. I'm not a producer, and I've only been making music for 2 weeks in total (although I comment here quite a lot at times), so don't expect to much :P
Never dared to post anything here however, but now I decided do it anyway. This is one of my tracks, took 2 days or something like that to finish:
bassline is good but it's to lound and it's to bouncy to much like it's some sort of acid, maybe there is some filter res on it?
but man 2 weeks? no fucking way!
the clap is not standard but not to weird either imo.
ok there is no real hook, it stays the same lead, with some change in the chords.
i must say this is VEERY good for someone that is producing for just 2 weeks..i didn't even knew what a bass was untill months later someone explained me what it is hehe.

Hi microslave,2 weeks ya say,I think youve been hanging around Tren too mutch picking up on his production,
the bass line definitly needs tarting up,and a bit of enhancement on the stereo seperation would help to lift the mix even further,I have to say this is a monumental effort for someone who has only been producing for too weeks,
anything else, yes I love your artwork at the microslave web site

True
But first you need to change the clap. Buildup is pretty good. Melody is ok for a first track, actually the whole track is. My first track was cheesy too so don't mind that

Massive84 & Pho mo: Cheers! I see your point Massive, bassline needs improvement and claps aren't that good imo. It feels trapped in a way. I know how I want it, I just don't know how to make it yet, needs some practice, hehe Thanks to both of you, you make some good stuff.
amsterdamm: I'm glad you like my artwork, and yes, Tren might have be some source of inspiration since I've been hanging around there for a while
Jay M: the claps, yes, I think the claps sounds too low/dark for this track. At some parts maybe even lower it. Thanks for your comment.
I think I have to learn make some strings/pads to get some atmosphere. Any more comments?

kick sounds a bit weak,
synth is nice, as massive said it stays the same lead

Sounds like you've been producing for over 2 months to tell you the truth. Really this is very very good for a first attempt.
Keep producing, with this kind of talent you will get there in no time!

It's not my first attempt, I've made two other ones before this one, and one after... so totally 4 tracks. They're on my website under downloads, you can check them out if you want.
And when I say 2 weeks I mean 2 weeks in total, not since 2 weeks ago.
I only make music when I get time over, and that rarely happens to be honest.
Thanks for your comments everyone. I Never thought I would get such nice comments for being this new actually.
Cheers!

this is very good indeed for just a total of two weeks
seems like you've got the hang of the FX part, what you should concentrate on is selecting better sounds and maybe diving deeper into mixing and all that comes with that
keep up the good swedish work
