this one is a remake of a psy-ish tune i produced back in 2000. the new version, however, is totally different (i even adjusted the melodies).. more "common" trance, if you will.

nice melodies in the intro/buildup after 2 min it sounds something like pulser, happy side)
think there is to much high in the mix.
don't like the main lead alot
break can be done better, the transition from intro to break to lead sounds really weird, like 2 different songs imo.
thats it

that's what i feared.. i produce on headphones that mainly focus the mid range, so it occurs from time to time that i don't notice a lack of bass or if there's too much high.
that said, i just listened to it on speakers and it's not that bad. you can hear some hiss, but that's also due to the mp3 quality.
about the break.. i was going to insert a string section, but i never really had any inspiration for it. maybe i'll try again some other time.. not right now, since i'm a bit tired of the track after all the work i spent on it the last couple of days.
thanx for listening.

Man, this synth is killing me, I freakin love it
If there was more atmosphere in this tune then it would be so much better imo. There's something missing, can't really point out what though.
The mainlead could be better, sounds a little thin at times.
I loved the first 3 minutes of it, then it became less interesting for some reason, but still, it's good quality imo.
The mastering is quite alright, kicks are good, everything seem to flow well.
Good job!

Hey hey,
Pretty decent sounds here. Few points:
It's all quite crisp, but I think there's a bit too much high and too little mid and low.
The lead coming in the break sounds a little thin. Counts for the other synth as well. A bit dry both.
Climax after that break is a bit minimal, would 've expected more firework.
Melody is ok, not too revolutionary, but it will do for a trancer.
Because of the highs the mix sounds a bit thin. Some more fx could help as well.
Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty nice track! The bassline is pretty good, it fits the track well and it's energetic. Buildup at start is good too, good atmosphere. It's getting somewhere.
