bout time

comments as I listen..

very cool intro.. not too sure about the panning.. maybe if u could hear the gated pad better..

very nice when the kick comes in..

the coorilation of the bass/kick/hihats is very nice.. they all compliment each other quite well to make a driving groove..

the bass is a little muddy and the kick is sort of flat... the track needs more bass and needs to be a bit punchier - compression and EQing can do this

pretty sweet pad at the breakdown.. the part with just hte pad and the panning effect is a little too long... the transition to the new chords is pretty good...

the arp thing isn't loud enough... definitly need to turn that up a bit..

the the bell thingy sounds really cool.. maybe a different way to bring all this in would of been to make the arp a little louder when it was just that and then bring it down and then explode into the bell.... or just bring it in without the exploding part (that would be how I would do it though)

piano is nice.. sounds really good.. i love when it goes off and does its own thing

the main melody you have going here is definitly good.. but it's a little short and simple..

not sure if it ends on a good idea.. i would of brought the kick back in for a climax of some type.. it sort of leaves me hanging... ARG

overall great track.. I'm quite impressed with your improvment..

ah wow..the beginning is nice...but when it just breaked, it kinda made me stop... ....i didnt like the abrupt change of craziness that i really liked into a "transition" of slow...progressively building up movements...but then @ 3.52...it really gets you back on track....
im really surprised that you didnt bring back the melody @ the beginning to play around with the incoming beat during the 4min period.
@ 5mins you play with a simple beat overlying the main beat which does seem to coincide with the unsusualy flow of this tune.
@6.30..you seem to be dying out by now...@ this point i would've thought that the melodic intro would come into play and end this tune with a nicer and much more euphoric feeling.
heh, call me crazy, but i just decided to replay the intro in my head when the tune began to end :S..
beautiful in fact. i hope to hear more
cheers! rex

Awsome, thanks for the feedback..

As for the abrupt change, I was feeling that If I brought back the beginning tune it would be a bit repetitive, so I decided to flip things around a bit, and try something new

very oldschool sounds
very happy melodic trance so far in the beginning
i think u should def. raise the hi hats volume
i like the kick and bass and the simplicity of the whole song, sometimes simple is good
def. reminds me of back in the day music
keep up the good work m8
peace out

Was debating on that as well, wasn't to sure though because I didnt want it to be too dramatic to ruin the flowing mood, thanks for the comments though, much appreciated!

OK m8 it took a while but here we go!

Starting with some nice fx and the wobling pad feels nice and dreamy.
Flutish arp gives a bit of a ghosty feel but is ok.
Kick is ok, and the production is quite clear.
The percs could use some attention, it seems far too empty to me.
The synth you made in this are ok, but they also could use some attention. The main part around 2:00 is a bit empty it deffo needs another lead here. It's a bit of a drag.
Break now. Those ooh and aahs really sound great. You could make them even a bit longer and heavier (more lows, especially in the reverb). Nice sasha- like sounds halfway the break. Climax could use more attention, I mean when the kick drops back in there isn't happening that much, again a lead could help here.
Lead bells sound nice, but not enough to be a lead.
Track finishes slowly now, another break there.
Try to fill this baby up with some lead and atmospheric fx. Overall certainly not bad.

Keep up
-Jay

I think im in love with the break there, amazing choirs with a great dark atmosphere. Cant really see how the break got anything to do with the rest of the track though, sound like a whole different tune.

The main part definatly has this old school sound which Im no fan of, the happy melody and those bells….

But still I enjoyed giving this a listen, keep it up!

I like the beginning of urs. Sound cool with the effect you got there. But maybe U can add in more percussion or to layer the syth/pad. The breakdown is alittle too abrupt as I expect a little melody there. But overall I find it alot. Soothing type of sound. More of chill out type on the breakdown.

Love it thou. Well done mate!
