[Trance] Yarune - Garden Of Contrasts (Original)

Hey!

It's me again! Back with a new track. I noticed I'm feeling a bit proud of this one cause I changed a major thing in my way of mixing/mastering (next to some other experiments off course) and it worked out. This is the result.

The track has quite some energy and only one break. It's been a while since my tracks had only one break hehe. It's typically my style cause the mid part has a way too happy Jay-ish melody. Oh well, see what you think of it and leave a comment while listening!

Link & Info!
Yarune - Garden Of Contrasts (Original) *UPDATED*

8:00 | 140 bpm | 128 kbps | almost 8 mb

Thanks a lot, my fellow TAs!!

----192kbps here----

-----------

I updated the track. Clap is louder, kick a bit more under control, synths are brightened up, ...

Worth another download!

i remember your last tune which was in my playlist for a long time, awesome stuff.

Lets have a listen to this track. Starts out very good, excellent kick and bassline, very driving. Nice acid line in the background. I dont really like that simple saw synth that is playing. I dont really like the other synths that come in aswell, sound a bit to plain and simple, melody is nice though and the sound quality and FX are excellent aswell. Break is a bit empty. Main melody is bad, tones arent really good, and no emotion in it. I think this track could have been better after the promising intro, the main theme is just not very strong, the melody is not good. Sound quality and mastering is awesome though. Good luck with your further productions.

7.5/10

I absolutely loved intro. Beautiful FX, nice kick. I liked the acid-ish synth in the intro. But before the break-down all those extra synths that came in sounded really flat, and just plain boring (no offense). Your bass synth however, I think its sounds really good. Your melodic synth build up was also very interesting, up to the the break down. Your Pad there, I didn't like either, it reminded me of that aweful bassline that is in every single drum and bass song (again no offense). Despite what Stino says, I kind of like the melody, its simple. And on top of that good synth, with some good FX to back it. and then we get to about 5:30...theres a new synth coming in. The new synth initially i didn't think sounded great...but then when the counter melody from before comes back in, they sound great together i though. also when the new synth initially comes in, it sounds like a lot of the notes are out of key, until the counter melody comes back in. Great mastering. Overall I liked it. I say keep up the good work

- really good mastering
- needs more drive
- the snare is a bit quiet
- the hi-hats are way down there
- not really my style of melodies, so won't comment on that
- bassline is pretty good.

Nice tune again man. Extremely crisp production this time!
I love the the first melody that comes in around 2:00, really nice. It fits really well with the bassline which is very cool also.
After the breakdown, that second melody is really awesome; sounds like more of an orchestra playing it than any particular synths - really full and lush. Nice work!

Het nummer begint wel lekker met die fx en die percs. Die perc mogen wel wat voller opzich ( klinkt een beetje dun ). De melodieen zijn wel prima.

To all of you, thanks for reviewing!

@ Mane and Sunquest: Kick is a bit dull as well, i might have a look at that.

@ Sunquest: Hm try to explain what you mean, is it because of the slight delay left-right that it doesn't match, or... cause you need to have good ears to mention!

Yeh the buildup promises something else than a happy melody hehe.

Cheers all. Anyone else?
