P.E.G - Chiba (Roman Cherno remix) [128 kbps]

Hi guys!

Here is my version to this amazing track by Phill Joyce (Pho mo).
I was amazed when I first heard it, the melody just blew me away, The tune had that kind of old school
feel to it, the feel only great classics have.

So I decided to have a go at remixing it, adding my own touch to it and here is what i came up with:

*UPDATED VERSION*
P.E.G - Chiba (Roman Chreno remix)

Would love to hear some opinions about it.

Wooh weird sounds from the start. Why not give the percs more clarity.. volume and high freqs.
Get some sounds away from the lower levels, its muddy.
Nice kick. Good fx sounds in it. Great atmosphere.
Sigh.. quit clipping the track, its ugly, use silences instead lol.

Good stuff, but you should look at the eq once again. It's overcompressed as well.

Hola ,

The FX rocks! The whole buildup is great. The intro is indeed very strange but original . Everything is built correctly. However, that lead has too much resonance and as Jay mentioned you need to getrid of some low freqs.

I'll be on it asap (you know).

whoa... when i first listened to it.. i was like wtf?? the fx??

but it's very cool though!

I think the only thing that needs tweaking is just some eqing on the pads and bass.. take off some of the low end for the pads as it's occupying the same space as the bass which makes the bass less clear and harder to distinguish. As well, I think you could try to make the bass sound a bit more crisp... it sounds a bit muddy and runny... try reducing the release and sustain on it and boosting a tiny bit around mid-high frequencies?? just suggestions

The synth work you have done here is amazing... i love all the sounds you have in here... builds up really well.. sounds pretty massive too

the track suddenly stops at different places?? intentional?? (for ex. at 2:20)

when the breakdown it is quite euphoric... sounds awesome... definately would like to hear this in a club...

amazing work, you don't disappoint

Cool, thanks for giving it a listen mate!
Creating a unique atmosphere is one of my main goals in each tune I make, even a remix. That’s why I use all those effects and pads…

Ill try to work on those things you suggested, thanks for pointing them out.

Those stops are intentional, might sound stupid but I just dont want this tune to get ripped by some group of idiots.

I love it! Great job mate.
Awesome synths and fx, and right from the start you've infused it with the DJ Kreing^^ character sound.
The sound quality in this update is great, nice work taming some of those huge sounds and getting the bass nice and punchy.
I love the breakbeat, it's really nicely done - now i'm wishing i'd thought of that one myself
Top stuff!!
