hey m8
nice pads in the intro
i think kick could be stronger
u could use some more percs too...
melody is really dark hehe
nice fx u got goin on, maybe make the bongo quiter to let it fade in
the synth that comes in at 6 minutes or something around there is too computer sounding, needs a little more smoothing out, equalizing and reverb on it maybe,
keep workin at it m8
ur almost there

listening now
- nice intro, too many fx going on though - doesnt give pad room to stand on its own
- kick could use a little bottom on it - I like when the beat kicks in a the door creaks
- diggin the bongo loop
- likin the lead sound. feel of the track is dark.
- agreed with sunquest that you need more percs. try putting anothe loop behind the main drums
- Good track . Defenitel could either use a new kick or one behind the one youve got now.

good stuff danny, continuous improvement. as i said to u before, i feel the strucure is just a bit too random for it to be play-able, just work on the general layout and blocks of the tune. also too many ear piercing fx and the melody doesnt jump out at me.

my advice....get a good melody-build up your track slowly in blocks and observe structures of other tracks. get a nice break and good build, once u have the hang of that. u can start to experiment with breaking the strucure rules.

massive potential here once again

hi mate! nice track this one, i like the melodies, especially the offbeat one that comes in around 6:08, fits the track perfectly.
the breakdown was really nice, i really like how the bassline keeps going throughout it.
overall i think just work on the sounds a bit, like the main melody synth as sunquest pointed out is fairly thin and computery; tweak those nobs! it could possibly help to play with some efx for that one. also pay attention to the bass sound, it could be a little punchier; perhaps use some compression on the bass synth?
the fx work is really nice in this, it sounds like you really enjoyed making this tune
i know you will, but i'll say it anyway - keep practising dude! you're getting heaps better every time

Pads are nice, but I don't like that many fx and especially the simple noises I dislike.

Kick kicks in. That bass is a bit too plain to me. Percs and clap are ok. I agree, the kick needs more power. Some synths get in now, ok. Waiting for something more to happen now.. Ok there's the second break with a phased new synth. That one might use a reverb just to give it more depth.

Overall not bad. Keep up!
-Jay

you know already what I think about this track Danny, the technic can be a bit improve but I'm sure that with a little time you'll be able to manage to express the potential which one feels in this track !

Keep it up mate !

first of all, i noticed there is way too many effects... to be honest it gets kinda annoying... the swooshes get tiring after a while...

the chords in the beginning sounds pretty good... seems like you know some music theory which is always a great thing...

around 3:15 it starts building up really nicely... all the synths complement each other well... the pads are nice at that point... need to put a bit more work into mixing it and getting a clean mix out of it though...

all the way up till 6:08 i enjoyed... but when that new synth came in at that point, i just didn't like it... it sounds very amateurish.. raspy and distorted...

I agree with everyone else.. has tons of potential...
Just the 3 things to watch out for and fix in my books are:
1) Fix the fx and swooshes.. too many and too loud
2) EQ, compress, separate the elements... spend some time mixing it well
3) New synth after the breakdown... I didn't like it... you should replace it...

here's my honest opinion... i really enjoyed it

thanks d-miurge lot of respect for your style as you know

also thanks kewless, hehe think its official that main synth at 6mins has to go. yeah i know there is alot of fxs going on but i was afraid of having the track sounding too empty so i packed her full hehe.

already planning my next track so i'll probably leave this one.
also the structure was all wrong which no-one seemed to notice but i know for my next tune.

thanks guys so the constructive critism once again, next track will be better i hope
