[trance] Ethereal - Roaz Sirens

Trance song, 137 bpms, with killer breakbeats and a softer lead. The sound of the lead synth reminded me of a dolphin's call (I don't know why, haha) so I named the title "Roaz Sirens" accordingly. Roaz is the Portuguese name for the bottle nosed dolphin.

Download or Stream: click and it's the first song on the list.

Enjoy, comments appreciated.

Hi.

Hm first thing I notice is the volume of the percs, the open hat needs more volume.
I'm not too fond of the bassline, a bit too dull. And I think the pads are all too wet, maybe too much detune, or reverb.
Break is nice. Breakbeats are nice too. I like your melody and lead synth there.
After the break nothing new is brought except for a weird synth lead sound, it's original but I don't think it fits.
Sound quality is pretty good, but it sounds very flat and limitted/compressed... all same volume.

Keep it up
-Jay

listening.. like the dark pads in the little break... i enjoy the bassline and the ACID.. the breaks are pretty kEwL.. damn this bass really owns this tune.. reminds me a little of M.I.K.E`s Fascinated track.. i enjoy the percs as well, simple but effective..

good work
8+/10

right listening on my headphones, cant be arsed to set my speakers up at home yet. i think jays right about percs being a little quiet. bass imo is very nice. u and brandon both seem to have a nack of using synths and melodies that just flow really nicely. breaks are amazing as always mate, just so varied i love it. other than that not much to say. sort the volume of the percs as it losing the tune a bit of drive and ur laffin. I will have a listen tomorrow on speakers if i find anythin different. but otherwise its very nice as always nishant

Love this, a little muddled at times but the break is immense. Quality stuff...

Already know what I think of course, but this track has come miles since you sent me the first clip a couple weeks ago. Bassline and percs came out much better than your previous tracks, mastering and sound quality is pro, and that lead has really grown on me since the first time i heard it. Good stuff.

Oh purely because you have alot of synths playing at once (possibly most of them with echo?) so it's kinda hard to differentiate between the one's that are supposed to be emphasized. I know you love your strings but if you really listen to it it dosen't really effect the tune that much. Quite nice atmosphere.

Hope that helps.

I like what I'm hearing! Reminds me alot of the co-op you did with SoM, very dreamy at times as well.

Good job!
Cheers,

joey, thanks for clearin that up

actually, i really not trying to bring anything into the foreground, i just wanted everything to kinda mend into one but, as you pointed out, that has its effects on the quality of the mix, i'll be sure to correct that next time around
