Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave (Yarune Remix)

Well, let me start by wishing you a HAPPY NEWYEAR!

I want to make a good start of 2005 so I decided to do a remix... But the track I've been remixing last week is a classic so I hope I did some good to it.

And no, the title has nothing to do with tsunamis. And yes, I donated already, you should too

I hope you all like it. Have a download and a listen, and leave a comment! Thanks!

Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave (Yarune Remix) -updated-
8:08 | 192kbps | 11mb
Made with: FL Studio, vst's like bass-station, v-station, vanguard, and others.

** UPDATE **
Bass improved
Added bass line on top of existing one
Strings high notes problem fixed
Lead synth more power (was swallowed by strings)
Some other tiny things

ok, good start, mate

good kick, i like the hihat, percussion arrangment, i would not removed that atmoshpere effect around 0:30, though, because the track sounds a bit empty till 1:00, love the main bassline, remind me kinda some gabriel & dresden basslines a bit, the breaks are good at 2:00, really like the lead synths, great work, love all those little percussion effects you did, the sounded really good, the best part of the tune easily the breaks around 3:50 and the second climax, well produced, the strings around 5:40 are awesome

overall really good remix, really clean production, you didn't add major changes to the original, but things you added (like the breaks and the others)sounded really good, i would play this in some of my sets if you don't mind, ok?

keep up the excellent work, Jay

ps.: waiting for next Yarune track

cheers,

Peter

As usual, excellent work Jay!

I always thought the original sounded a bit lacking, but you have filled your remix out nicely. Loving the breakbeat as well!

apart from the bass i really like this. the bass sounds distorted/detuned almost to the point of being out of key. synthwork, percs + fx are all pretty much spot on. the bass needs imo to be more of a flat sub sound and work on a more filling low midrange bassline which i know you are capable of

good work all in all tho man, you are continuing to impress me

Great remix of a classic track man Those breaks are very cool and the breakdown is simply beautiful.

This is a quality remix of a quality track.

really looking forward to hearing this one:

listening:

plus
good percussive intro
great strings

minus
ouch.. dont like this bass
where is the clap?

Conclusion
it started pretty good.. but the bass kinda ruined it.. the bass was kinda the signature of the track.. those strings in about 2:20 are awesome.. the clap is there as well.. great strings.. sounds like a hybrid between Original mix, the Albion mix, the reversed twister remix.. (except the breakbeat..) the bass sounds good when playing amongst all the synths and stuff.. but terrible on its own.. very good work

8/10 strings awesome, bass bad playing on its own.. synths an inch to weak

good work

Like everything except the bass.

The breakbeat is great and the synths are very nice too. Pads have an ethereal feel to them, and make the track more dreamy than the original. You've certainly done the track justice.
At about 5.40 the pads get too loud IMO.
