[Trance] Dave-PL vs Illicit - Untitled
Sorry that I don't review alot, I was a little bit busy and forgot the forum, sorry. But here is a new song. A cooperation.
Time: 7.44 min
Size: 10,6 MB
Bitrate: 192 KB/S
Made with: Fl studio 4.5.1
Vst's: 3x osc, Synth1, Absynth 2.0, Simsynth, V-station, Free Alpha en Bass Station.
And many samples.
0.55 that stab synth that is a bit to loud in the mix, but really not much
Further i miss a good hihat sample, seems lacking drive due that.
nice fx and small details.
break was the best part here.
the lead is quite nice.
good job both of you .

sounds great!
tempo is a bit high though.. the sounds you guys used scream for a slower tempo. and if you really want to make it a bomb full of energy, i'd definitely put a strong open hat and some rides in there, as Massive said.
otherwise it's good.. lovely percussion, gorgeous breakdown, good melody.

Thanks for the replies. Do you think it's worth to release?

I really like this track! There isn't much to say than the synth and melody are astounding! Good job!

I told you already what I think of this Dave. This is freakin great! At the break that little dreamy sine is beautiful, as is the guitarlike synth, as is the arp in the main part.
At the end of the first break, right after the melody, you added some bars, with fx. I think you could leave that away and just bang the main part in. It's still great tho.
Mastering is great. I would put a little more highs on the melody synths, but that's just my opinion, my sounds have too many highs....
wow man,, fuckin great! inspiring. I love the feel it has to it.. damn dont think I could say a bad thing If I wanted to.. Beautiful
Love and Peace,
Miroslav
