Hey over there!

When I heard the first sample of Peter's new track, must be months ago now, I wanted to remix it instantly, the vocals gave it a very relaxing atmosphere. I wanted to create a more laidback version with Sarah's voice.

You all must know Sarah by now (hi Sarah ), she did vocals for Icone for example too. Some did a remix of Peter's track, including I, and I would like to share a www-cut here.

The bells are awsome.
it's hard to understand what sarah is saying in the buildup.
where is the bassline? (found it, you got to bring it abit more upfront)
sarah nice vocals pretty good work there. (oh btw lyrics are cheeze hehe)
the pads are good.
oh here is the bass, i couldn't here it in the buildup.
nice melody.

the tune has a really nice drive.

i wish i knew about how to use vocals.

not sure about the lyrics but a quality piece.

i love the breakdown bigtime and vocals are starting to work more for me when used in the break.

id like to hear a version with the vocals only used in the break.

i wish i knew how to make stuff this crisp.

Great melodies. Kinda boring structure for me but as far as laid back chicane style trance this is great.

- i like all the different sounds in the background, throughout the mix
- there seems to be something missing in that first part of the track. maybe a pad or something
- there is just too much delay on the vocal lines sometimes. try doing something more creative, not just a delay. layer them, etc...
- the drive back into the beat is a little weak, and the whole breakdown just seems rather flat
- part after the break sounds nice! but again, i think its missing strings/pad or a gated pad

@ The Drow: Bass has some bugs, will be taken care of.

@ eulerfx: Thanks for the pointers. I won't bring any more instrument layers in there, I think it's enough already. What I'm thinking of is giving one lead just more phatness and room to fill the gap you're mentioning. About the vocals: They're a bit wet I guess, will look at them too.

Do you got some wine to that cheeze? I liked the way you played with the vocals in the intro, but they do sound abit cheezy in the breakdown there.
