good melody in this one, i like it a lot actually. I like the moment at 4:37 a lot, when the beat kicks back in. The electro influence in this works real well, i must admit. I think an additional lead, or some sort of additional hook would make this track even catchier. Right now, it has a lot of good elements, but no single one that just stands out to help us remember the song by. And the fact that there are several melody lines throughout the song makes it harder to remember it by a single, main melody. Just something to think about
Stan.

It has been a while,
What does the name mean?
Nice firm kick.
Good funky bass man.
Good vocals, the sample should be longer imo.
I think you should use a snare instead of that clap.
WOOT I like the synth that comes in 2:00.
This is a bit more prog house till now.
I don't like the offbeat synth, it's not interesting.
I like the strings, bring them more forward in the mix, move the the offbeat synth under the strings. the offbeat synth fits in the break.
I felt like a supersaw lead was missing in it.
You need something much more powerful after the break.
I was expecting something realllllly big.
Add more percs into the track. Fill it more, make it heavier.
Hey Tor,
the mix sounds good, all the elements are properly represented. The only drawback for me is that it doesn't have anything to get remebered by. Work on those melodies and let's hear them.
Good work

it wasn't supposed to be a melodic trance track actually, i just wanted to recreate the typical Belgian trance sound from 2000/2001, focussing on the atmosphere rather than having a big room lead take away all the attention.. i really miss that sound these days.
anyway, thanks a lot for your insight guys

tor,
this sounds like something from dj tiesto - live at innercity rai 99
i love your breakdown and i wished the melody would continue into the main part that followed. the section around 5mins 20secs sounds really nice. i love it infact(apart from the vocal sample near the end)

Awesome track mate, reminds me of those good old deeper bonzai trance tracks. Will definately play this in my sets!
