I'm a bit early, maybe, but how is the jury going to work? Just a point system? Cause one producer might have good friends in the jury, it would not be fair would it?
Is there going to be any communication/discussion between the jury-members?

it doesnt work quite like that jay,
each judge downloads all the mixes, then rates it by a system they all decide upon first hand.
and dont worry about bias, all of the former contests worked good,
at least for the duration of the contest - the judges care about good music, not good people

A predetermined point system will be used to evaluate all tracks by all the judges. As far as bias is concerned, the judges will be judging unlabeled mp3's so they'll have no way of knowing which remix is by which artist. Unless, of course, a judge makes an outside agreement with a remixer and already knows what his remix is etc...I can't stop that from happening, but if I find out - the judge and the remixer will no longer be associated with the competition.
Stan.
PS: I sure hope most of you are serious about submitting a finished remix, because only TWO submissions have been made so far! If you don't want to submit a remix because you think you have few chances against the other TAs, realize that not nearly as many people submit as how many say the will!!! Good luck!

i wouldnt worry too much about the fact that only 2 submissions have been made so far,, its still early,, everyone is still taking their time.
anyways, i hope after the judging, we will all be able to download all the remixes like last time, am i hoping for too much?
