Hey, I hate this melody I have remixed this as well, and I sooooo tired of it! B&J didn't make a good track here. The only thing cool in the original is the flangning in the start. This one is nice produced, but way too similar to the original for me. Hehe

CRITISIM is GOOD

yea I know it IS good mate, only I just keep in mind what several people say. Nobody made a note about compression and eq (some did about the lead so that might be right). Could you give some more details about what exactly bothers you? The one says the mastering is good, the other says it sucks, it makes things rather confusing
Thx for the reply anyway, I can't please everyone, that's the hard side of producing

It's nice. I like your effects and stuff. I also like the doubled up melodies around 6:08.

Some places your mixing leaves a little to be desired, though.

That's an understatement, my brother.

Anyway, the whole track sounds too toyish in my opinion...doesn't have the pro feel the other remixes I've heard have. But that's just my opinion, since I didn't give it earlier.

Look kid, if I hurt your feelings, oh well. You posted your crappy track for everybody to review, so suck it up and drive on...it's not my fault your remix is the worst one of all the ones in TA. There's always a food chain and somebody's gotta be in the bottom. I know truth hurts but practice makes perfect...one day your producing will be good. About my tracks, for spending a few minutes a day after a long day of flying and working, hey...they don't sound too bad. Maybe one day I'll have enough time to make a complete track, haha.

IMO, these posts should be banned, same holds for the people posting them. Some moderator in the house?

Yes, I guess you're right..

On topic:
Starts off nice, nice variety in the percussion, keeps it very alive. Nice swing, with the open hihats and the snare. I like it.

Some synth come in. Works good. Has a certain dark feel. This buildup takes a little too long I think. Gets a bit boring with the break, I'm waiting for this melody i heard too much already Ah there it is. No real new elements added to the melody (yet). Only percussion is quite refreshing. Nice effect at the end of the break.

IMO this all takes a bit too long, too few elements are there to fill 8 minutes. The extra notes brought in the melody are ok. I'd make a shorter version with 1 break and that with that second melody coming up.

Nice work m8.
-Jay
