Pretty nice tune mate. I like the dark sounding nature of this tune.

Not really my type of trance, but i'll comment on the production.

Excellent percs and eq work. Great use of synths aswell.

Everything sounds v v powerful.

Gr8 master too.

Hey thanks guys!

@DJ-Kreing: You could be right about the notes, but it's easy to get used to them, thats why i left m this way.

As I was actually compressing the whole afterwards, i think it lost some power there. The final mastering is the hardest part, I really need to get that better. The synths making fatter is just a matter of time, me keeps on practicing

plus
I really like those percussions, firm and nice
the synths build up nice
I like the kind of wierd melody u got there
cool synths u bring in about 4:00

minus
I dont like the little triangle bling u have in the beat (small matter really)
are there any notes off here?
it may sound a little thin

conclusion
good creative effort, the mixing and mastering sounds good.. I think maybe after a while the percussions are getting a bit to repetetive.. the main lead is good.. I can hear a certain feeling about this track indeed..

ok production

6.5/10

Whooooooo!!! Scary!!!

Love athmospherical sounds. If I had to finish this track, I'd try to accentuate some elements, perhaps add some more scary Alfred Hitchcock psycho FX and ghost laughter to strengthen the fear, this track breeds/arouses (whatever ; ). But I don't know, if it is your aim to get people getting the creeps. *hehe*

Wow, this is some weird trance for me... That don't mean I don't like it, but it certainly means some getting used to

I think the bass and perc are tight, nicely done. Melodies are sounding well, though weird once more. Overall, nicely produced I think, though not immediately my type of trance.

Cheers
Wim

hi jay..listening--

-first of all i can tell this is gonna be pro, nice wide bassline and good FX and backround percs
-the kick is fine and that hats and claps are the right level
-interesting rhodes-ish noises
-nice pads...and good tabla deep fx
-hmmm when it comes back in, somehow the bassline doesnt fit the rest..it all seems quite out of key to me.
-with the right melody and pads sequence i think this could be a lot better
-liking this bass stabby noise coming in now
-once again...kicks back in strange.
-this is quite unique trance but for me it doesnt really work

7.5/10
make more tracks of the same quality but with a better theme

Thanks guys! It's the type of trance which seems to keep this down. It was fun experimenting with these kind of sounds tho.

@ John: I totally understand your points, and busy making a lovely peaceful tune already..

-Jay

Nice atmospheric trance tune. Like this one very much. Very good to hear some trance stuff from the dark side.

for some reason this track makes me think of Final Fantasy VII (7 for you that doesn't know how to read that )

I dunno if scary si the right word, I would rather say that it's sound is mystical.

well about the tune, I dunno...it just doesn't get to me, gives me pretty much an "ok" feeling but nothing more.
I just can't put my finger on what's missing.

maybe it's just not my type of trance.
