he sunquest, nice melodies man!

You can make a great track out of this. Some things didn't feel 100% good to me though.

1. at 0.55 a new part comes in ( which I love).
but maybe you should wait 4 counts (or something) after the first one.so you have a bit 'rest'/silence. that way the new part will be even more uplifting I think.

2. at 1.09 a counter-melody is introduced ( which is awesome too). It sounded a bit chaotic to me at the moment, maybe filter in the counter melody as well ( the chaotic part could be because of the low bitrate offcourse).

3. than at 1.23 at the climax, you have another melody with it.
Seems a bit chaotic to me again. maybe you could introduce it, after 8 or 16 measures after the climax.

in short: The track is awesome and has really good potential. But for my personal taste, the transitions ( or whatever you call 'm are a bit to fast for me.

Love to hear the final edit.

greets Mark Sixma

holy mother of god, what a melody.. simply breathtaking

seriously, this has to be one of the best melodic trancers i've heard all year, so uplifting..

one tip, though: reduce the delay on those synths.. the mix is a bit too muddy in that area, and i noticed a little bit of clipping during the build-up.

if you sort that out, you have got a HUGE track mate!

Great melody and the lead synth is really great! Try to bring some extra surprising elements in the final mix. Beef up the crash and the last few seconds of the break before the climax (around 1:00).

Luck!

Melodies are quite nice!

Mix deffo needs some work there, try to get it all ballanced so you hear every part of the track, but not just one over riding and it sounds like your melodies and synths carry the track too much. As reccomended earlier, i'd turn down the delays on some of your synths too.

One other thing that would set this track off would be some more intricate percussion---it needs something so when you hear it being mixed in you're like "oh shit!! here comes Airborne" if you get what i mean.

Sounds like this could be killer m8, well done and good luck with it.

Nice full sounds in this one, really rich so far. Too much reverb in this though, esepcially when all the layers are playing together with the drums, gets muddy. Can't hear what instrument is playing what, but instead just one big vague sound and melody. Remove some of the reverb, make the sounds tighter, and you should be good.

Stan.

Hey Sunquest, that's a really nice tune there. I love uplifting trance like this. Sound like a real clubbing tune.

I don't know whether there is too much delay or not - it does sound quite complicated in the middle there, but who is to say that is good or bad?

Give me some ... [well let's say alcohol for all you family-minded people out there] and send me out to the club with this playing; it's either going to be confusing or overwhelmingly good...

Looking forward to hearing the whole tune!

this is quite nice, needs lots of equing and the mixing is very rough sounding, and it is SOOO over compressed, please stop doing that. also your mega high frequencies are a bit much, like they jus hiss lots. i think it all gets drowed a bit when it all kicks off. i think right now your way of filling up a mix is by adding millions of extra, pointless synths and sounds, and i think its better to have less, but beef them up some, so its much crisper. melody nice. i like it at 2:47 when you can hear better whats going on. percs are a bit basic but i suppose suit the style of the track. over all lots of potential but the mixing needs lots of work i think.

Mike
