Hey man!

Here we go with a few points:
Bongos are nice. Give nice atmosphere.
Bass is way to flat I think.
Hats could use more power.
Hm that lead guitar is playing the melody but thats about it, it could use some brightness.
A bit abrupt the break is here again after the main part. Nothing new in here. I'm really missing that higher counter melody of the original in here, too bad.
Dark feel is ok, but it doesn't really work for me in here.

Ok, but i like your other work more!
-Jay

Interesting track. I never got to hear the earlier version, but the recent one you posted is quite good. Weird hearing that old tune again. Toca certianly did some good cheese

The clap at 1.34 works pretty well though it resonates a little much for my liking.

Fading the snare roll away at 2.54 feels a bit odd. And the buildup in general could do with maybe a filter sweep or just something extra to give it importance.

The melody at 3.15 sits well at the top. I think introducing elements of it at the start could help build the track up. It really kicks in at 4.10 and drives the track along. It would be good to just get to this point after the first break so you can really get into the track. Right now it feels a little stop start if you know what I mean. I think theres some great elements to this tune, the composition though could be improved on.

hey guys! thx again for all your feedback!
i think the uploaded version is the final one (you sometimes have to say this, otherwise a track would never be finished), but iŽll keep all your mentioned points in mind for my next projects...

Not a bad track at all.

Sounds better when I turn up my little PC subwoofer.
